This was a very colorful TTM success coming from former Astro, Wilbur Howard. I have had his cards for a long time, but have never sent TTM to him until recently. This 1976 Topps might be one of the best examples of the old rainbow Astros uniforms. It even shows the commemorative patch for the late Don Wilson (#40 patch on Howard's sleeve).
Here are two more cards that I got back, both showing off that amazing Astros jersey. Howard has some really nice cards and all three that I sent came back looking great.
Howard (b. 1949) played in the majors from 1973 to 1978 for the Brewers and Astros. He had 267 hits, 6 home runs and a .250 batting average.
I mailed to Howard on October 9 and got the cards back on October 26, for a 17-day TAT.
