TTM Success - Alan Page

This 1976 Topps football card of Alan Page came back signed TTM recently. I picked him to send to TTM because I had read that along with being a football player, he also was a drag racer. I thought that was pretty cool, so in the letter I sent him, I mentioned who my dad is and how he has drag raced for a long time. I did get the signed card back, but nothing else. Maybe he read my note. Maybe he didn't. Oh well. I tried.

Page (b. 1945) played professionally from 1967 to 1981 for the Vikings and Bears. He was an 9-day pro bowler (1968-1976), and was an All Pro five times (1970, 1971, 1973, 1974 and 1975). He was the NFL MVP in 1971. He was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1988.

I mailed to Page on November 14 and got the card back on February 9, for an 87-day TAT. I paid his fee of $30.00.

TTM Success - Jeff Branson

Here are some nice cards that came back signed TTM by Jeff Branson. The above 1988 Topps Traded showing Branson in a Team USA uniform was pretty cool.
He also signed a 1993 Topps and a 1994 Topps. Both of these also look nice.

Branson (b. 1967) played in the majors from 1992 to 1998, 2000 and 2001 for the Reds, Indians and Dodgers. He had 383 hits, 34 home runs and a .246 batting average.

I mailed to Branson on January 3 and got the cards back on February 6, for a 34-day TAT.

TTM Success - Bernard Moon

This is another signed 2025 Topps Pro Debut that has been added to the autograph album. I got this one signed TTM by Bernard Moon. The 2025 Topps design is such a good one, and the cards look great signed.

Moon (b. 2005) was a 16th round pick by the Reds in the 2023 July Amateur Draft out of Redan High School in Georgia. He has played in the Reds system since 2023, reaching A ball. He has 188 hits, 14 home runs and a .259 batting average.

I mailed to Moon on January 23 and got the card back on February 5, for a 13-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jack O'Connor

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card has been signed and added to the autograph album. I saw that I could add Jack O'Connor via TTM, so I found some other cards to send along.
He signed a 1982 Topps, 1983 Topps, 1983 Donruss and 1988 Score. The Score is the only card I saw that showed O'Connor in an Orioles uniform.

O'Connor (b. 1958) played in the majors from 1981 to 1985 and 1987 for the Twins and Orioles. He had a record of 14-17 with 177 strike outs and a 4.89 ERA.

I mailed to O'Connor on January 2 and got the cards back on February 5, for a 34-day TAT.

May 15, 2016, Graphing of the Jackals at Bird Dawgs

Graphing the Frontier League has its challenges. The hardest challenge is getting cards of guys that you'll see. In the case of the New Jersey Jackals, I was only able to find cards of Felix Stevens prior to the series.
I ordered cards of Stevens from gosportscards, and got all of them signed during the first game of the series on Friday. He was really nice and jad a good series, hitting a few home runs.

In all, we got the following autographs: Felix Stevens x 10. 10 total autographs. The next series should be much better.

Another TTM Success From Chuck Porter

Oops. Here is another example of me forgetting who I have sent to TTM. I had gotten Chuck Porter TTM back in 2016, but forgot. Almost 10 years later, I sent another 1985 Topps to him and got it back signed.

Since I had forgotten, the card got put in the autograph album, even though I try not to put duplicates in there. Oh well. I'll live.

I mailed to Porter on January 13 and got the card back on February 4, for a 22-day TAT.

TTM Success - Carson McCusker

This nice 2025 Topps Update of Carson McCusker came back signed TTM back in February.  I had busted a box of Update and pulled a few guys that I wanted to try TTM, and got pretty lucky. The 2025 Topps design is a good one, in my opinion.

McCusker (b. 1998) played in the majors last season for the Twins. He had 5 hits, no home runs and a .172 batting average.

I mailed to McCusker on January 20 and got the card back on February 4, for a 15-day TAT.

May 12, 2026, Graphing of the Capitales at Bird Dawgs

The Down East Bird Dawgs home opener was on Tuesday against the Quebec Capitales. Quebec has won what seems like the last 4 Frontier League championships. The Bird Dawgs have retained maybe half of the guys from last season, with quite a few new guys on the team. One of which is Australian, Jackson Grounds.
Grounds has some cool Stars and Stripes relic cards, which I picked up, along with one of his Australian cards. Rolando Heredia-Bustos and Lyle Miller-Green are two of the other new guys on the team with cards. Heredia-Bustos pitched pretty well, and Miller-Green seems to be a pretty good hitter. Grounds has been pitching in relief so far this season.
Quebec had a bunch of guys with cards, so I put an order in at gosportscards.com and got some cool team set stuff.

In all, we got the following autographs: Ruben Castro x 1, Nelvin Correa x 8, Nic Deschamps x 4, Torin Montgomery x 4, Adam Shoemaker x 6, Ian Villers x 4, Lyle Miller-Green x 4, Jackson Grounds x 5 and Rolando Heredia-Bustos x 2 (41 total autographs).

TTM Success - Ryan Vanderhei

This 2024 Bowman Chrome yellow refractor of Ryan Vanderhei was a nice pull from my box that I picked up back then. I didn't see a chance to get it signed in person, so I tried sending it TTM. I found an address and gave it a shot. The card came back signed in black Sharpie, and it looks great. Sending it TTM is a big risk, as all TTMs are, but like my good friend Billy says, "it's not getting signed sitting in the box". It isn't sitting in the box anymore; it's in the autograph album.

Vanderhei (b. 2001) was a 10th round pick by the Giants in the 2023 July Amateur Draft out of TCU. He has played in the Giants system since 2024, reaching A+. In his career, he has a record of 8-8 with 117 strike outs and a 3.88 ERA.

I mailed to Vanderhei on January 12 and got the card back on February 4, for a 23-day TAT.

TTM Success - Chris O'Riordan

Here is a random 2004 Topps that I found in my box that I was able to send out and get signed TTM. Chris O'Riordan signed the card in black Sharpie, and it looks pretty nice.

O'Riordan (b. 1980) was an 8th round pick by the Rangers in the 2002 June Amateur Draft out of Stanford. He played in the minors in 2002, 2003 and 2006 in the Rangers and Padres systems. He had 173 hits, 6 home runs and a .297 batting average.

I mailed to O'Riordan on January 10 and got the card back on February 4, for a 25-day TAT.

TTM Success - Dave Edler

Here is a nice 1983 Topps that came back signed TTM by Dave Edler. My mind keeps thinking Elder, but it is Edler. He signed the card in black Sharpie, and it turned out well.

Edler (b. 1956) played in the majors from 1980 to 1983 for the Mariners. He had 72 hits, 6 home runs and a .216 batting average.

I mailed to Edler on September 3 and got the card back on February 3, for a 154-day TAT.

May 9, 2026, Graphing of Express at Bulls

We were looking forward to Round Rock coming through Durham since the schedule was announced toward the end of the season last year. The graphing was pretty good, but it didn't live up to the hype we had built up. This was mainly because there weren't as many former Wood Ducks as we had hoped. The ones that were there didn't really recognize us, so that was a bit of a bummer.
I got a couple Hickory team set cards signed. This team set was from 2022, so i had been holding onto the Marc Church and Trevor Hauver cards for a while.
I was the only one of the graohers there on Saturday who got Ryan Brasier. I got him by the bullpen once the game ended. He wouldn't stop for the rest of us outside.
I chipped away at my stack of Nick Prattos that I had pulled a while back. I was glad to pull a bunch of Mason Thompson cards; the 2016 Bowman Draft came from one of the boxes I got in Richmond this winter. I was also surprised that Aaron Zavala signed more than one per. He always was a strict one per back in the day. I was able to get everything I had left of him done, finally.
The Durham team set is already out. That feels really early in the season. I chipped away at sets for Gerard and I. The set looks nice, but was a disorganized mess. I soebt a coupke innings alphabetizing and organizing it into my book.
I got a bunch of the team set taken care of. I'll have to keep working on them through the next couple of times in Durham.

In all, Jesse and I got the following autographs: Dairon Blanco x 3, Ryan Brasier x 2, Jonah Bride x 1, Diego Castillo x 1, Cam Cauley x 2, Marc Church x 1, Trevor Hauver x 4, Michael Helman x 1, Jose Herrera x 1, Richie Martin x 1, Nick Pratto x 9, Trey Supak x 2, Emiliano Teodo x 1, Mason Thompson x 7, Aaron Zavala x 5, Cam Booser x 2, Cooper Bowman x 2, Homer Bush Jr x 5, Carlos Colmenarez x 5, Alex Cook x 2, Luis Guerrero x 2, KC Hunt x 2, Ty Johnson x 2, Dominic Keegan x 1, Cooper Kinney x 4, German Melendez x 2, Brian Reith x 2, Chrystal Rowe x 2, Blake Sabol x 3 and Logan Workman x 2 (79 total autographs).

TTM Success - Evan Scribner

A nice 2013 Topps came back signed by Evan Scribner recently. He signed the card in black Sharpie, and it looks pretty nice. I like the yellow A's jersey that he has on.

Scribner (b. 1985) played in the majors from 2011 to 2017 for the Padres, A's and Mariners. He had a record of 5-4 with 155 strike outs and a 4.15 ERA.

I mailed to Scribner on January 22, 2025, and got the card back on February 4, 2026, for a 378-day TAT.

TTM Success - John Hiller

Some older Topps cards came in signed TTM from John Hiller. This nice 1977 Topps was one of them. Love the empty stadium shots, haha.
He also signed a 1978 and a 1980 Topps. All of the cards look great.

Hiller (b. 1943) played in the majors from 1965 to 1970 and 1972 to 1980 for the Tigers. He had a record of 87-76 with 1,036 strike outs and a 2.83 ERA. He was an All Star in 1974. His best MVP and Cy Young finishes were 4th for both in 1973. He won the World Series with the Tigers in 1968. He appeared on the 1986 Hall of Fame ballot and received 2.6% of the vote.

I mailed to Hiller on January 10 and got the cards back on January 30, for a 20-day TAT. I paid his fee of $5/card.

TTM Success - Curtis Granderson

His marker was less than stellar, but I was still happy to get this 2016 Topps negative parallel signed TTM by Curtis Granderson. He is signing through his education fund in Chicago.

Granderson (b. 1981) played in the majors from 2004 to 2019 for the Tigers, Yankees, Mets, Dodgers, Blue Jays, Brewers and Marlins. He had 1,800 hits, 344 home runs and a .249 batting average. He three-time All Star (2009, 2011 and 2012). His best MVP finish was 4th in 2011 (AL). He appeared on the Hall of Fame ballot in 2025 where he received 0.8% of the vote.

I mailed to him on January 5 and got the card back on January 30, for a 25-day TAT. I paid his fee of $50.00.

A Fourth TTM Success From Jay Bell

Four TTM requests may seem like a lot, but Jay Bell has a ton of cards and signs pretty frequently. I had sent to him in 2016, 2019 and 2023, so  I figured enough time had passed to send a few more. The above 1993 Upper Deck was the card that got my attention to send to him again.
I also cleared out some room in my boxes by pulling the above 1992 Triple Play, 1996 Collectors Choice, 1998 Bowman and 2001 Topps.

I'm pretty sure I'm out of his cards now, so I'm probably done sending to him. Bell or Bobby Richardson may be the two guys I've sent to the most. I'll have to look into that at some point.

I mailed to Bell on December 22 and got the cards back on January 30, for a 39-day TAT.

Mystery TTM From Gerard - Luke Lacourse

Back in 2020, when we were in the dark times, Gerard and I added autographs to each other's collections by sending mystery TTMs out to be returned to each other. We let that pass once games resumed, but recently, Gerard sent off one to a 2025 Bowman Draft guy so I wouldn't have to dig his cards up. Not too long after, I got several cards back signed by Luke Lacourse.

Lacourse (b. 2006) was a 6th round pick by the Angels in the 2025 July Amateur Draft out of Bay City Western High School in Michigan. He has yet to make his professional debut.

Thanks for sending out some cards for me, Gerard!

More 2025 50-50s and 2026 Cubs Convention Autos From Max

My buddy Max took another box of cards from me and converted a lot of them into signed cards I could add to my autograph album. One highlight was the above Topps Archives signed by Fergie Jenkins. This is a great card. There aren't enough modern sets using the 1957 Topps design. I wish they had done a Heritage Minors set with this design.
Here are cards sigbed by Cody Acshe, Quentin Berry, Trevor Cahill, Travis Chapman, Garrett Cooper, Noah Davis, Ryan Dempster and Jim Deshaies. I thought I had these Topps cards signed by Cahill and Dempster, but I didn't, so that was nice.
These are signed by Kyle Freeland, Jason Hammel, Mike Harkey, Starling Heredia and Jaden Hill. I had sent my Hill cards to someone for a 50/50 a while back, and everything came back signed, except for a Chrome, so that puts it in the album. I was alsi happy to see a 2015 Topps Jason Hammel (middle) and it looks great.
Here are Alex Jacob, Reed Johnson, John Lannan, Ted Lilly, German Marquez, Jack Neely. Those Neelys add some 2025 Topps to the album. I thought I had gotten John Lannan before, but I suppose I was wrong because I was unable to find any.
Now we see Riley Martin, Colin Rea, Mike Remlinger, Ethan Roberts, Jackson Rutledge and Matt Szczur. I sent every Szczur card I ever owned to Max at various points in time. It was nice to get one back signed for the album. Szczur is one of Max's all-time favorite guys, so I know it was tough to part with. He knows it went to a good home.
Here are Anthony Senzatella, Ryan Sweeney, Ezequiel Tovar and James Triantos. A 2007 Upper Deck Artifacts Sweeney at the bottom left really pops. Also that blue 2007 Bowman right beside it looks awesome.
Here are Victor Vodnik, Randy Wells and Jaxon Wiggins. I saw that I had a few more Wiggins in my box, so I'll have to send a few more his way to refill his stock.
Reed Johnson, Shawon Dunston, Hoby Milner, Drew Romo and Jim Palmer are in this bunch. That 1992 Topps Gold Dunston is pretty great. It would have been cool to have been able to get Don Sutton on the card with Palmer, but it was not meant to be.
Finally here are Cubs team cards signed by Justin Grimm and Gavin Hollowell.

Thank you so much, as always, Max. I'm sorry it took me so long to get these scanned. I have another smaller stack he sent afterward that need to be scanned. I hope to knock those out soon.

May 2, 2026, Graphing of the Jumbo Shrimp at Bulls

Last night, Jesse and I headed back to Durham to catch the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. I prepped for the trip over the last couple of weeks. I even took a small box of the cards with me on a work trip to Minnesota and prepped cards in the hotel room.

The Jumbo Shrimp roster was loaded with guys with cards. We got almost everyone we could get, missing a couple guys, and not having cards for a couple others.
It was really nice seeing Maximo Acosta again. He remembered me from the Wood Ducks and thanked me again for giving him some cards back then. Getting his 2026 Topps card signed was a good choice.

Kemp Alderman was pretty cool. He signed a bunch of our stuff. He joked that he had a $5 fee, but we laughed about it. I had heard that Jacob Berry was a tough get, but he came right over when we asked him. The 2024 Panini Crusade he signed turned out great.
Let's pause a minute to marvel in the awesome signature that Heriberto Hernandez gave us on our 2026 Topps Heritage cards. I could have saved him the trouble and did those myself. We'll, we got ink on the cards and they're in the album. So, his little scribble os what it is.
Deyvison De Los Santos hit a bunch of cards after we were told he hadn't signed much all week.
Jared Eickhoff was pretty cool. He signed for us outside. Joe Mack and Andrew Pintar were one per, but Pete and a kid took two of my Pintars and got them done for me.
Jared Serna was such a nice guy. He signed everything we had. He talked to us for a bit outside while he signed.
I was surprised that Robby Snelling signed everything we had. I was glad that a few of the Jumbo Shrimp guys finished everything I had. I plan to see them again when they come back through later in the season, but if I don't have much left, I may see where else I can go.
Thomas White also signed everything we had for him. I was glad to get his 2025 Pro Debut insert card signed (middle of the top row in the scan above).
We got a select few Durham guys outside. I finally saw Homer Bush, Jr. He has been on their roster for a bit but hasn't been in Durham.
I saw today that Joe Mack was called up to the Marlins. That was really cool. The game was pretty good. Bradley Blalock struck out 12 in 6 innings, at one point he struck out 7 in a row.

In all, we got the following autographs: Maximo Acosta x 2, Kemp Alderman x 6, Jesus Bastidas x 2, Jacob Berry x 2, Bradley Blalock x 2, Zach Brzykcy x 2, Jose Ceballos x 2, Deyvison De Los Santos x 12, Jerad Eickhoff x 3, Dax Fulton x 1, Heriberto Hernandez x 2, Joe Mack x 2, Zach McCambley x 4, Cody Morissette x 3, Andrew Pintar x 4, Ethan O'Donnell x 2, Jared Serna x 11, Robby Snelling x 8, Luke Terwilliger x 3, Thomas White x 8, Cooper Bowman x 1, Homer Bush Jr x 4, Jonathan Heasley x 4, Trevor Martin x 1 and Blake Sabol x 4 (95 total autographs).

TTM Success - Woody Woodward

This 1969 Topps of Woody Woodward was found at a card show in Richmond late last year. I saw he signed TTM, so I picked it up. I have never had much bulk 1969 Topps on hand, so i haven't sent a whole lot out (not like 1971 to present). The card turned out great and Woodward has an awesome signature.

Woodward (b. 1942) played in the majors from 1963 to 1971 for the Braves (Milwaukee and Atlanta) and Reds. He had 517 hits, 1 home run and a .236 batting average.

I mailed to Woodward on December 8 and got the card back on January 30, for a 53-day TAT.

TTM Success - Griffin Burkholder

Griffin Burkholder signed this 2025 Topps Pro Debut card TTM for me back in January. While I was looking for his cards to send out, i went through the 2025 Pro Debuts that I had put aside in a box, right after I busted several hobby boxes. I noticed a Burkholder parallel that I didn't realize that I had pulled. I looked closer at the card and saw 1/1. So, I busted something like three boxes, immediately put everything aside and didn't realize I had pulled a 1 of 1? Talk about embarrassing. Even more, when I wrote Burkholder for this TTM, I mentioned that I had his 1/1 and he could check out my Instagram if he wanted to see it. Crickets. Maybe he doesn't collect his own cards? Oh well, it's my first 1/1 in a long time and... it's put aside... for safe keeping.

Burkholder (b. 2005) was a 2nd round pick by the Phillies in the 2024 July Amateur Draft out of Freedom High School in Virginia. He has played in the Phillies system since 2024, reaching A ball. He has 33 hits, 4 home runs and a .192 batting average.

I mailed to Burkholder on January 10 and got the card back on January 28, for an 18-day TAT.
