Another TTM Success From Tim Nordbrook

Back in 2024, I got Tim Nordbrook to sign a couple cards for me TTM. When I had sent those cards off, I couldn't find two of the cards I had pulled to send to him. Eventually, I did find them, so I sent to him again. One of the cards was the above 1977 SSPC. These are nice cards, and always look good when signed.
I also crossed this 1991 Crown Orioles card off. I'm not sure where I had put the cards, but it was probably "somewhere I would find them". I mean, I did find them.

I mailed to Nordbrook on December 16 and got the cards back on February 23, for a 69-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Phil Regan

After a long wait, these cards came in from former Orioles manager, Phil Regan. It was funny, though, that two other requests to him that I sent after these cards came back quickly, with no problem. I guess this TTM request fell between the seats.
I had these two Topps cards that I sent along, a 1965 and a 1966 Topps. He also signed a Pacific Orioles logo card (top) and a blank 1991 Crown Orioles card.
I was really surprised to get these back, as I had thought that they jad been lost a long time ago.

I mailed to Regan via the Mets on June 21, 2019, and got the cards back on February 17, 2026, for a 2,433-day TAT, easily the longest wait I have had.

TTM Success - Jack O'Connor

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card has been signed and added to the autograph album. I saw that I could add Jack O'Connor via TTM, so I found some other cards to send along.
He signed a 1982 Topps, 1983 Topps, 1983 Donruss and 1988 Score. The Score is the only card I saw that showed O'Connor in an Orioles uniform.

O'Connor (b. 1958) played in the majors from 1981 to 1985 and 1987 for the Twins and Orioles. He had a record of 14-17 with 177 strike outs and a 4.89 ERA.

I mailed to O'Connor on January 2 and got the cards back on February 5, for a 34-day TAT.

TTM Success - Allan Ramirez

An Oriole who had eluded me for some time was finally added to the autograph album when I got two cards back signed TTM from Allan Ramirez. The above 1984 Topps turned out great. I had this card pulled for a while, but I missed a signing and had to hold the card and wait for the next one. I saw that Ramirez was signing TTM, so I located the card and sent it out.
I also sent the above 1991 Crown Orioles card out and got it back.

Ramirez (b. 1957) played in the majors in 1983 for the Orioles. He went 4-4 with 20 strike outs and a 3.47 ERA.

I mailed to Ramirez on December 15 and got the cards back on January 5 for a 21-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Don Buford

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card was put into the autograph album when this one came back signed TTM from Don Buford. I originally got Buford to sign TTM back in 2016, well before I bought the Crown set off of Chandy at a card show. Chandy was a good man; i was very sad when he passed away a couple years ago. I'm glad the set was bought from him, since many of the cards from the set will live on in my autograph album.

I mailed to Buford on December 15 and got the card back on December 27 for a 12-day TAT. I paid his fee of $5.00.

TTM Success - John Pacella

Another TTM success came in from a former Oriole featured in the 1991 Crown Orioles set. John Pacella was also in the 1983 Topps set, so I sent this card off, as well.
It sucks that he isn't shown in an Orioles uniform, but this card is still signed.

Pacella (b. 1956) played in the majors in 1977, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1984 and 1986 for the Mets, Yankees, Twins, Orioles and Tigers. He has a record of 4-10 with 116 strike outs and a 5.73 ERA.

I mailed to Pacella on December 4 and got the cards back on December 17, for a 13-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ricky Jones

Here is another 1991 Crown Orioles card for the autograph album. This card is signed by Ricky Jones. I had never heard of him before, so it was nice to get this card taken care of.

Jones (b. 1958) played in the majors in 1986 for the Orioles. He had 6 hits, no home runs and a .182 batting average.

I mailed to Jones on November 13 and got the card back on December 4, for a 21-day TAT.

TTM Success - Royle Stillman

My question to knock out another 1991 Crown Orioles card led me to Royle Stillman.  It also helped me add the above 1978 Topps to the autograph album. He signed the card in blue ballpoint, and it turned out nicely.
The signature on the 1991 Crown turned out well, also.  I haven't counted how many of these that I've gotten, or how many I could still add, but they're fun to put in the album.

Stillman (b. 1951) played in the majors from 1975 to 1977 for the Orioles and White Sox. He had 33 hits, 3 home runs and a .213 batting average.

I mailed to Stillman on November 5 and got the cards back on December 2, for a 27-day TAT.

TTM Success - Fred Holdsworth

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card was pulled from my box and sent out TTM.  I've been slowly chipping away at my stack of living Crown Orioles guys, and Fred Holdsworth was the next pull from the box.

Holdsworth (b. 1952) played in the majors from 1972 to 1974, 1976 to 1978 and 1980 for the Tigers, Orioles, Expos and Brewers.  He had a record of 7-10 with 94 strike outs and a 4.40 ERA.

I mailed to Holdsworth on November 14 and got the card back on November 29, for a 15-day TAT.

TTM Success - Earl Stephenson

As far as my autograph collection goes, I've got a lot of irons in the fire.  I'm still working on the 1987 Topps set. I send off a handful of Bowman Draft every year. I am positioning myself to send a handful to Spring Training (probably less than last year, though). I also try to knock off a few 1991 Crown Orioles when I can.  Again, I have no chance at filling the set, but I can try to get as many of the living former Oriole players as I can.  One that recently came back signed TTM was the above Earl Stephnson.

Stephenson (b. 1947) played in the majors in 1971, 1972, 1977 and 1978 for the Cubs, Brewers and Orioles.  He had a record of 4-5 with 50 strike outs and a 3.57 ERA.

I mailed to Stephenson on November 10 abd got the card back on November 22 for a 12-day TAT.

TTM Success - Curt Schilling

A private signing with Curt Schilling popped up recently that had him at the cheapest price that I had seen him, so I signed up.  I thought I had this 2008 Upper Deck Masterpieces in my collection somewhere, but I couldn't find it.  I bought this one off of Ebay for the signing.  I wanted something with the bloody sock in the autograph album.
Since the price was so reasonable, I went ahead and sent out my 1991 Crown Orioles card as well.  I had seen Schilling on a recent documentary and he honestly looked pretty rough.  I didn't want to wait around to get these signed, so I went ahead with this signing.

Schilling (b. 1966) played in the majors from 1988 to 2007 for the Orioles, Astros, Phillies, Diamondbacks and Red Sox.  He had a career record of 216-146 with 3,116 strike outs and a 3.46 ERA.

He was a 6-time All Star (1997, 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2004).  His best finish in the Cy Young Award voting was second, which happened 3 times (2001, 2002 and 2004).  His best finish in the MVP Race was 10th in 2001 and 2002.

He won the World Series with the Diamondbacks in 2001 and the Red Sox in 2004 and 2007.  He appeared on 11 Hall of Fame ballots but has come up shortly of election.  The highest vote % he received was 71.1%, just short of the 75% required.  His politics and a failed venture into the gaming industry (that cost investors a ton of money) are some of the reasons keeping him out.  He will get in eventually.

I mailed to the signing on January 27 and got the cards back on April 12, for a 75-day TAT.  I paid a fee of $35/card.

TTM Success - Sam Horn

My friend Gerard helped me get a few Sam Horn cards signed a while back.  When he did, I hadn't picked up my 1991 Crown Orioles set.  I saw a signing for Horn and went ahead and sent this card in to g a f signed.

Horn (b. 1963) played in the majors from 1987 to 1993 and 1995 for the Red Sox, Orioles, Indians and Rangers.  He had 250 hits, 62 home runs and a .240 batting average.

I mailed to the signing on March 21 and got the card back on April 11 for a 21-day TAT.  I paid the fee of $10.00/card.

TTM Success - Dave Criscione

Here is yet another 1991 Crown Orioles card that I got signed TTM for the autograph album.  I had never heard of Dave Criscione.  He signed the card nicely and inscribed it with his uniform number.

Criscione (b. 1951) played in the majors in 1977 for the Orioles.  He got into 7 games and had 3 hits, 1 home run and a .333 batting average.

I mailed to Criscione on February 3 and got the card back on February 10 for a 7-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Juan Beniquez

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card was added to the album when this one came back signed by Juan Beniquez via a private signing on SCN.  I had gotten him during a previous signing, which took care of my 1987 Topps.  I saw another signing come along and decided to go ahead and get my Crown Orioles card done.  It turned out nicely.

I mailed to the signing on December 27 and got the card back on January 25 for a 29-day TAT.  I paid a fee of $12.00.

TTM Success - Mike Dimmel

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card was added to the album when this Mike Dimmel signed card came in TTM.

Dimmel (b. 1954) played in the majors from 1977 to 1979 for the Orioles and Cardinals.  He had 1 hit, no home runs and a .125 batting average.

I mailed to Dimmel on January 6 and got the card back on January 21 for a 15-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Wayne Gross

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card was added to the autograph album when I got this TTM success back from Wayne Gross.  The 1991 Crown got smeared, but it is still signed.
I also got a 1978 Topps and a 1984 Topps Traded signed.  The 84 Traded came out of a box of stuff I picked up at a show with Ryan a while back.

I mailed to Gross on November 21 and got the cards back on December 26 for a 35-day TAT.

TTM Success - Randy Miller

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card is off the list and added to my autograph album. I got this one back signed TTM from Randy Miller.

Miller (b. 1953) played in the majors in 1977 and 1978 for the Orioles and Expos.  He had a record of 0-1 with 6 strike outs and a 12.91 ERA.

I mailed to Miller on December 4 and got the card back on December 24 for a 20-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Dave Vineyard

Another signed 1991 Crown Orioles card was added to the autograph album when I got this one back from Dave Vineyard.

I had originally gotten him back in 2017, but didn't have the Crown cards then.  Ive added a bunch to the album lately, which is nice.

I mailed to Vineyard on November 20 and got the card back on December 19 for a 29-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jose Bautista

A while back, Jose Bautista was coaching for some team that was going to come through Kinston; I think maybe Myrtle Beach. For whatever reason, I didn't see him (COVID season, maybe?). I don't remember now.  Anyway, I had his cards pulled, then put away, then pulled again.  I finally sent to him TTM, and after quite a while, got the cards back signed.  I was glad to finally get his 1991 Crown Orioles card into the autograph album.
I also got a 1989 Topps, 1994 Topps Finest and a 1994 Topps signed.

Bautista (b. 1964) played in the majors from 1988 to 1991 and 1993 to 1997 for the Orioles, Cubs, Giants, Tigers and Cardinals.  He had a record of 32-42 with 328 strike outs and a 4.62 ERA.

I mailed to Bautista on October 24, 2023, and got the cards back on November 25, 2024, for a 398-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Larry Harlow

Another 1991 Crown Orioles card was signed TTM recently when I got this one back from Larry Harlow.  I've tried to get a few of these in the mail lately, and have seen a few come back.
I had a few other Harlow cards put aside to send, so I got a good many out.  Above are: 1979 Topps, 1980 Topps and 1982 Topps.

I mailed to Harlow on October 15 and got the cards back on October 29 for a 14-day TAT.
