TTM Success - Phil Regan

I had sent to him once before, when he was the pitching coach of the Mets, but those cards never came back.  Finally, I used my Harvey book, and got two cards signed by former pitcher, Phil Regan.

The other card will be shown later, as it was a 1987 Topps Mariners leaders card.  The above 1972 Topps card turned out really nicely, though.

Regan (b. 1937) played in the majors from 1960 to 1972 for the Tigers, Dodgers, Cubs and White Sox.  He had a career record of 96-81 with 743 strike outs and a 3.84 ERA.  He was an All Star in 1966 when he went 14-1 with a 1.62 ERA and 21 saves over 65 games.  His best MVP finish was was that season, when he finished 7th in the NL MVP race.

Regan managed the Orioles in 1995 to a 71-73 record (.493win %).

I mailed to Regan on July 17 and got the cards back signed on July 25, for an 8-day TAT.
