I sold a decent amount of cards on COMC recently and had almost $30 in store credit. So, I decided to use most of that to knock some pieces out of my 1959, 1969 and 1971 set needs. A big card I still needed from 1971 was the above Tom Seaver. I got this one for $3.50. As you can see, it is a little rough, but for what I'm expecting from this set, I'm ok with it.
I also got card numbers 117 (Ted Simmons), 154 (Cesar Gutierrez), 175 (Jim Hickman) and 200 (1970 NLCS Game 2). Not bad. I now need 120 cards to complete the set, but a lot of them are high numbers, so who knows how long that will take.

Nice pickup! You're lucky I didn't see that card first, I would've gladly scooped that up for $3.50.
nice stuff man!
Nice addition - I like the collared shirts the Mets (or at least Tom Seaver) used to wear.
