Here is a pretty nice TTM success on a few late 70s and early 80s cards from Dave LaRoche. I was really happy to get this 1983 Topps Super Veteran card back signed. Unfortunately, LaRoche's signature isn't awesome like Harmon Killebrew's, but the card is still cool.
The signature shows up better on this 1976 Topps, I think. This set is always a bit underrated, but one i have quite a few cards from. I've managed to get several signed, and this one will be the latest example in my album.
Here are Topps cards from 1979 and 1982, which both turned out nicely, I think. The 1982 is a pretty nice card that might look the best out of all of the ones I sent.
LaRoche (b. 1948) played in the majors from 1970 to 1983 for the Angels, Twins, Cubs, Indians, Angels and Yankees. He had a career record of 65-58 with an ERA of 3.53 and 819 strike outs. He also recorded 126 saves in his career. LaRoche was an All Star in 1976 and 1977 and finished 25th in the 1978 AL MVP voting. LaRoche is the father of former MLB players, Adam and Andy LaRoche.
I mailed to LaRoche on November 15 and got the cards back on December 22, for a 37-day TAT.
