TTM Success - Jason Savacool

This TTM success from Jason Savacool had me a little worried.  I was afraid these cards may not be coming back.  I had seen people getting him back, and still nothing for me.  Finally, yesterday, my cards came back signed.  The above 2023 Bowman Draft Chrome magenta lunar crater parallel was why I was a bit worried.  I really wanted the card back signed since I picked it up.  It was an easy decision to make when I bought it for around a dollar.  I had seen successes and was buying something else from the dealer.  Anyway, nothing to worry about now, it is signed and in the album.
I also got Savacool's 2023 Bowman Draft and 2020 Stars and Stripes signed.  Both of these look nice, as well.

Savacool (b. 2002) was a 6th round pick by the Cardinals in the 2023 July Amateur Draft out of the University of Maryland. He played 4 games last season for Single A Palm Beach and had a record of 0-0 with 6 strike outs and a 9.53 ERA.

I mailed to Savacool on January 16 and got the cards back on March 4, for a 48-day TAT.

TTM Success - Nolan McLean

Just when I thought my 2023 Bowman Draft TTM successes were drying up, another one came in.  I received a 2023 Bowman and a 2020 Panini Stars and Stripes back signed from Nolan McLean.  His were the first cards I sent out from the 2023 Bowman Draft set.
Each card turned out nicely.  I'm hoping this means a few of the others I sent out may still be coming back.

McLean (b. 2001) was a 3rd round pick by the Orioles in the 2022 July Amateur Draft out of Oklahoma State, but did not sign.  He was again drafted in the 3rd round in the 2023 July Amateur Draft, this time by the Mets.

He made it into 8 games last season between the GCL Mets and Low A St Lucie Mets.  He had 2 hits, 1 home run and a .125 batting average.

I mailed to McLean on December 15 and got the cards back on February 14, for a 61-day TAT.

March 25, 2023, Graphing of Miami at Wake Forest

College baseball isn't usually my first choice to graph, but when my older brother, Philip, messaged me and asked if I wanted to go see the Miami Hurricanes take on Wake Forest, I was interested.  He let me know enough in advance that I was able to order some Perfect Game cards of some of the players, so it turned into a pretty decent rack.

I also had some Stars and Stripes cards of a couple of the players, so I was able to get a few out of my boxes, as well.  The above Yohandy Morales is one of the Stars and Stripes cards that I was able to get signed.
I missed picking up a couple guys Perfect Game cards due to an error on my part on Ebay, but that ended up saving me some money.  I wish I had gotten everyone, as it was really easy to graph at the game.  Another disappointment was that former big leaguer, Will Craig was coaching for Wake, but I couldn't find the bulk of his cards that I had somewhere, and the ones I did have didn't get signed, since I missed him post game.
Still, we had a really good time.  It was me, my brother, Philip; his wife, Karie; his friend, Dave; my oldest brother, Kenny; his wife, Gina; and their son, Ian.  I had never graphed with Ian before, but he is at a great age for it, at 12.  He seemed to have fun, and filled up an extra ball that I had brought for him.  He is a big Wake Forest fan, so it was nice helping him fill that ball up with signatures.
Wake ended up winning the game.  It was really cool to be at the stadium formerly known as Ernie Shore field.  It was the site of my first ever baseball game, back in the early 90s.  They have since remodeled the field, and renamed it David Couch field.  It will always be Ernie Shore to me.

I really appreciate Philip inviting me to go along.  In the end, I got the following autographs: Matt Wessinger x 2, Lucas Costello x 5, Carlos Lequerica x 1, Carlos Perez x 5, Alejandro Torres x 5, Yohandy Morales x 3, Alejandro Rosario x 2, Dominic Pitelli x 5, Karson Ligon x 5, CJ Kayfus x 5, Dorian Gonzalez x 6 and Gage Ziehl x 2 (46 total autographs).

TTM Success - Colton Cowser

When this TTM success came in, Colton Cowset had not yet been drafted by the Orioles.  The same thing happened last year when Heston Kjerstad was drafted; I had previously gotten the guy TTM, not he's an Oriole.
The cards I got signed by Cowser turned out really well.  The signature is hard to see on this 2020 Stars and Stripes, but it looks nice in person, I assure you.

Cowser (b. 2000) was drafted by the Orioles in the first round (5th overall) in the July 2021 anateur draft out of Sam Houston State University.  He is currently at Low A Delmarva, after spending a few weeks in the Florida Complex League.  He has 13 hits, 1 home run and a .464 batting average so far this season.

I mailed to Cowser on January 22 and got the cards back on March 15, for a 52-day TAT.

TTM Success - Casey Opitz

This 2020 Panini Stars ad Stripes card came back signed TTM from Casey Opitz earlier this year.  The card looks much better than the scan, but the foil just doesn't translate well to my scanner.

Opitz (b. 1998) was an 8th round pick in the July 2021 Amateur Draft by the Cubs out of the University of Arkansas.

I mailed to Opitz on January 25 and got the card back on March 8, for a 42-day TAT.

TTM Success - Taylor Walls

When I can get a 2013 Perfect Game card signed, I get pretty happy.  I bought a couple boxes of 2013 Perfect Game at the National a few years ago, and still have a bunch of base cards left over.  I have been able to get a few of them signed, and when I saw that Taylor Walls was signing TTM, I sent this one, and a few other cards out to him.  He doesn't have much of a signature, but hey, they're signed.
I also got a 2019 Stars & Stripes, 2020 Stars & Stripes, 2017 Bowman and 2018 Pro Debut signed by Walls.

Walls (b. 1996) made his major league debut this season for the Rays.  He was a 3rd round pick by the Rays out of Florida State in the 2017 June Amateur Draft.  So far, he has 16 hits, 1 home run and a .246 batting average.

I mailed to Walls on January 2 and got the cards back on February 19, for a 48-day TAT.

TTM Success - Nick Loftin

Here are a few really nice cards that I was able to get signed TTM by Nick Loftin. The above card is another 2020 Donruss American Pride. I really enjoy getting these signed.
I also got a 2020 Stars and Stripes and a 2020 Bowman Draft signed.

Loftin (b. 1998) was a first round (32nd overall) draft pick by the Royals in the 2020 June Amateur Draft out of Baylor University. He has played this season at High A Quad Cities. He has 23 hits, 4 home runs and a .221 batting average.

I mailed to Loftin on January 19 and got the cards back on February 17, for a 29-day TAT.

TTM Success - Reid Detmers

Here is another prospect that I was able to get to sign TTM earlier this year.  I had quite a few Reid Detmers cards, so, it was nice to be able to get some signed.  Especially a 2020 Panini Stars and Stripes (above).
I also got a 2020 Bowman and a 2020 Bowman Chrome done.  I have a lot more of his cards, so maybe I will send to him again, or maybe I can find someone who will 50/50 for me.

Detmers (b. 1999) was a first round (10th overall) pick by the Angels in the 2020 June Amateur Draft out of  the University of Louisville.  He had played this season at AA Rocket City (yes, the Trash Pandas).  He has a record of 1-2 with 40 strike outs and a 3.60 ERA.

I mailed to Detmers on January 12 and got the cards back on February 16, for a 35-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jeff Criswell

Here are some cool prospect cards that I got back signed TTM from Jeff Criswell.  The above 2020 Panini American Pride turned out nicely.  The card looks even better in person.
Criswell also signed a 2020 Stars and Stripes and a 2020 Bowman.

Criswell (b. 1999) was a second round pick by the A's in the 2020 June Amateur Draft out of the University of Michigan.  He had appeared in one game this season so far for Oakland's High A team in Lansing.  He is 0-0 with 1 strike out and a 0.00 ERA.

I mailed to Criswell on January 19 and got the cards back on February 16, for a 28-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Anothony Volpe

I wasn't planning on mailing to Anthony Volpe again, but when I pulled the above box topper out of 2020 Pro Debut, I wanted to get it signed.  It won't fit in my card album, so it will go into my signed post card album (yes, I have one of those, too).  The card looks awesome.
Volpe has a great signature, and it shows on all of the cards.  His 2020 Stars and Stripes looks much better than the scan shows.  I wanted to get some of the 2020 stuff signed in person, but I'll have to wait.

I mailed to Volpe on October 20 and got the cards back on November 3, for a 14-day TAT.

TTM Success - Spencer Butt

I was able to get another 2020 Stars & Stripes card signed when I got this TTM success back from Team USA 15U member Spencer Butt.  The card looks way better in person.  I'm not a big fan of the all-foil cards in Stars & Stripes.  I like the plain ones better.

Butt (b. 2005) is the same age as my son.  It is official, I have finally asked a kid my son's age, for his autograph.  I had hoped that person would be his former teammate, Thomas, but he doesn't have any cards yet.  Anyway, Butt is a pitcher and infielder on the 15U squad for Team USA.  In 2019 he pitched 6 innings with a 1.50 ERA and 4 strike outs.  He also appeared on the 12U team for Team USA in 2017.

I mailed to Butt on June 8 and got the card back, along with a typed letter, on August 17, for a 70-day TAT.

TTM Success - Luke Waddell

I added another Stars and Stripes auto to my album when I got this card back signed from Luke Waddell.  The card looks a lot better in person; these foil Stars and Stripes don't scan all that well.

Waddell (b. 1998) was a 32nd round pick by the Diamondbacks in the 2019 June Amateur Draft out of Georgia Tech.  He didn't play in any pro games after being drafted.

I mailed to Waddell on July 23 and got the card back on August 10, for an 18-day TAT.  He kept the other two cards that I sent.

TTM Success - Karson Bowen

I added some autographs on a couple 2020 Stars and Stripes when I got this TTM success back from Karson Bowen.

Bowen (b. 2004) has played on Team USA 15U (2018 and 2019) and the 12U team (2016).  He played 8 games in 2019 and had a .381 average with a homer, and 4 games in 2018 with a .400 average and no homers.

I mailed to Bowen on July 14 and got the cards back on August 3, for a 20-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jack Leiter

I got a couple 2020 USA Stars and Stripes cards back signed with this TTM success from Jack Leiter.  Both cards turned out great, and helped me put a couple cards from this year in my album.

Leiter (b. 2000) pitched for Vanderbilt for the brief 2020 season.  He went 2-0 with 22 strike outs and a 1.72 ERA over 4 games.  He looks to be one of the top picks in the 2021 draft.

I mailed to Leiter on June 4 and got the cards back on Juy 27, for a 53-day TAT.

He is the son of former Major Leaguer, Al Leiter.

TTM Success - Drew Romo

I added a 2020 draft pick's auto to my collection with this TTM success from Drew Romo.  He signed two 2020 Panini Stars and Stripes cards.

Romo (b. 2001) was a first round pick (#35 overall) by the Rockies in the 2020 June Amateur Draft out of The Woodlands High School in Texas.  He may go through Asheville next season, depending on how MiLB is restructured.

I mailed to Romo on June 8 and got the cards back on June 25, for a 17-day TAT.

TTM Success - Heston Kjerstad

Before he was drafted #2 overall this past June, I had sent a TTM request to Heston Kjerstad.  I got the card back, and now he is an Oriole.  That was definitely not planned, as it was a common thought that the Orioles would choose Austin Martin.  My TTM request to Martin is still out there, somewhere, but I am happy the Kjerstad did come back.

Kjerstad (b. 1999) was the second overall pick in the 2020 June Amateur Draft by the Orioles.  He had played 3 seasons at the University of Arkansas, his third season cut short by the COVID outbreak.

In his collegiate career, Kjerstad had 204 hits, 37 home runs and a .343 batting average.

I mailed to Kjerstad on June 5 and got the card back on June 13, for an 8-day TAT.
