
 Milt Bolling (b. 1930) played in the majors from 1952 to 1958 for the Red Sox, Senators and Tigers.  He retired with 280 hits, 19 home runs and a .241 batting average.  After his playing days were over, Bolling served as a special assistant to Red Sox owner Ton Yawkey and then as a scout in his native Alabama.
