TTM Success - Cody Satterwhite

Here is a 2011 Bowman of Cody Satterwhite that I got signed TTM. He signed my card in blue Sharpie after not too long of a wait.

Satterwhite (b. 1987) was a 2nd round pick by the Tigers in the 2008 June Amateur Draft out of the University of Mississippi. He played in the minors in 2008, 2009, 2011 and from 2013 to 2018 in the Tigers, Mets, Angels and Nationals systems. He had a record of 15-15 with 310 strike outs and a 3.47 ERA.

I mailed to Satterwhite on March 11 and got the card back on March 30, for a 19-day TAT.

TTM Success - Mickey Wiswall

Here is a random 2010 Bowman that came back signed TTM recently by Mickey Wiswall.  I've got so many 2010 Bowman in my box.  They came from the old card shop when it closed.  I've been able to get a few signed, but it doesn't seem like I've made a dent in the stack of cards.

Wiswall (b. 1988) was a 7th round pick by the Mariners in the 2010 June Amateur Draft out of Boston College.  He played in the Mariners from 2010 to 2012 and 2014, reaching AA.  He had 351 hits, 45 home runs and a .259 batting average.

I mailed to Wiswall on November 26 and got the card back on August 28, for a 275-day TAT.

TTM Success - Neil Medchill

The older Bowman box helped out with a couple Neil Medchill cards that I sent off TTM.  They came back signed in ballpoint pen.  Above is a 2010 Bowman of Medchill.
As usual, the 2010 Bowman Chrome didn't scan for crap, but rest assured, the card looks nice.  I was pretty satisfied with the autos even though the cards were signed in pen.

Medchill (b. 1987) was an 11th round pick by the Yankees in the 2009 June Amateur Draft out of Oklahoma State.  He played in the Yankees system from 2009 to 2013, reaching AAA.  He had 310 hits, 53 home runs and a .234 batting average.

I mailed to Medchill on December 4 and got the cards back on April 21 for a 138-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Justin Masterson

Here are a few cards of Justin Masterson that I got out of my boxes and sent TTM.  I had gotten him on quite a few cards before.  The above 2009 Topps Ticket to Stardom is a really nice card.  I busted a couple boxes of this back then but had very little extra to try for TTMs.  I've now got this one in the autograph album, so all good there.
Here are a 2014 Donruss, 2010 Bowman and 2008 Bowman Chrome that I also had pulled for Masterson.  I'm out of his cards now, and that's fine.

I mailed to Masterson on December 3 abd got the cards back on April 2 for a 120-day TAT.

TTM Success - Kaleb Cowart

A friend of mine on Instagram hosted a series of private signings a while back. I wanted to try to support, so I joined in on a couple of them.  This one of Kaleb Cowart helped me move a few cards out of the box of shame.
I can't remember why I had originally pulled Cowart's cards.  They are finally signed.

Cowart (b. 1992) played in the majors from 2015 to 2019 for the Angels.  He had 65 hits, 6 home runs and a .176 batting average.

I mailed to the signing on November 14 and got the cards back on January 29 for a 76-day TAT.  I forgot what I paid.

TTM Success - Adam WIlk

This 2011 Bowman Adam Wilk was in my to-be-TTMed box for what felt like forever.  I finally pulled it to send out after I found the below 2010 Bowman and 2010 Bowman Chrome and pulled them.
All of the cards look good, even though 2010 Bowman Chrome doesn't scam well.

Wilk (b. 1987) played in the majors in 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2017 for the Tigers, Angels, Mets and Twins.  He had a record of 0-5 with 27 strike outs and a 7.36 ERA.

I mailed to Wilk on December 4 and got the cards back on December 16 for a 12-day TAT.

TTM Success - Josh Rutledge

Some more early 2010s cards got signed via TTM recently, this time from Josh Rutledge. The above 2012 Heritage Minors turned out nicely. I liked this set when it came out. I inherited a bunch of these cards when the LCS closed, so, I've been able to get a few signed here and there.
I also sent this 2010 Bowman, which also turned out nicely.

Rutledge (b. 1989) played in the majors from 2012 to 2017 for the  Rockies and Red Sox. He had 284 hits, 20 home runs and a .258 batting average.

I mailed to Rutledge on January 11, 2021, and got the cards back on June 18, 2022, for a 523-day TAT.

TTM Success - Stephen Pryor

Some more early 2010s cards came out of my boxes with this TTM success from Stephen Pryor.  I hav a ton of 2010 Bowman, and getting at least one of them out of my box is a good thing.  Not that there's anything wrong with the set, you just get tired of looking at them every time you go through the box.
I also sent off a 2010 Topps Pro Debut and a 2013 Topps Update.

Pryor (b. 1989) played in the majors from 2012 to 2014 for the Mariners.  He had a record of 3-1 with 35 strike outs and a 2.81 ERA.

I mailed to Pryor on October 27 and got the cards back on May 23, for a 228-day TAT.

TTM Success - Carter Jurica

Another older Bowman came back signed TTM, this time from Carter Jurica.  This is a 2010 Bowman, and looks pretty cool. The signature it pretty close with the facsimile signature on the card, which is pretty gaudy on this series of Bowman.

Jurica (b. 1988) was a 3rd round pick by the Giants in the 2010 June Amateur Draft out of Kansas State. He played in the minors from 2010 to 2013, all in the Giants system, reaching AAA.  He had 317 hits, 17 home runs and a .259 batting average.

I mailed to Jurica on February 16 and got the card back on March 12, for a 24-day TAT.

TTM Success - Kolbrin Vitek

A couple older cards were taken from my prospects box and sent off for TTM recently.  I got this 2010 Bowman signed by Kolbrin Vitek, which turned out really nicely.  I have a tom of 2010 Bowmans, and also 2010 Bowman Chromes in my boxes.  The Chromes don't scan well at all, and also curved almost as badly as the 2010 Topps Chromes (almost).
I also got this 2011 Topps Heritage Minors card signed.  This is a great design; a remake of 1962 Topps.

Vitek (b. 1989) was a first round (20th overall) pick in the 2010 June Amateur Draft out of Ball State University.  He played in the Red Sox system from 2010 to 2013, reaching AA.  He had 292 hits, 8 home runs and a .258 batting average.

I mailed to Vitek on January 11 and got the cards back on January 29, for an 18-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jake Kahaulelio

Guys like Jake Kahaulelio make my job in finding addresses much easier than a guy names Joe Smith would.  I found these cards in my box and took a shot at finding an address, and it worked.
I got a 2010 Bowman Chrome and 2010 Bowman signed by Kahaulelio.  The cards turned out great, even though the Chrome is curved.

Kahaulelio (b. 1985) was a 20th round pick by the Reds in the 2007 June Amateur Draft out of Oral Roberts.  He played in the Reds system from 2008 to 2011, reaching AA (actually, Carolina Mudcats when they were a AA team).  He had 315 hits, 23 home runs and a .247 batting average.

I mailed to Kahaulelio on January 10 and got the cards back on January 25, for a 15-day TAT.

2021 50/50 From Brian - Delino DeShields Jr

Delino DeShields, Jr. came to the Wood Ducks Hot Stove event a couple years ago and signed some cards for Chris and I.  So, when my friend, Brian, messaged me asking if I had any DeShields cards, I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to find any for him.  Thankfully, I had some in the boxes I got from my former LCS, and also some newer stuff that I was able to find.  The above 2010 Bowman turned out great.  I ended up with several of these, so I will have a few as trade bait.
I also found the above 2015 Topps Heritage, a 2019 Topps and a 2020 Topps.  All of the cards turned out great.

DeShields (b. 1992) has played in the majors since 2015, for the Rangers, Indians and Reds.  He has 450 hits, 19 home runs and a .246 batting average.

Thanks for taking the cards, Brian!

TTM Success - Hayden Simpson

Here is a random Bowman card that I sent off TTM and was able to get it back signed by Hayden Simpson.  I have a ton of these 2010 Bowmans now, and it was nice getting one of them out of my box.  It didn't even make a dent, but hey, I have a signed card, and that's all that matters.

Simpson (b. 1989) was a first round (16th overall) pick by the Cubs in the 2010 June Amateur Draft out of Southern Arkansas University.  He played in the minors in 2011 and 2012, all in the Cubs system.  He reached High A.  He had a record of 5-17 with 120 strike outs and a 6.42 ERA.

I mailed to Simpson on January 15 and got the card back on July 19, for a 185-day TAT.

TTM Success - Chase Austin

I added another older Bowman card to my autograph album with this TTM success from Chase Austin.  He signed my 2010 Bowman with a fading black Sharpie, but the card still looks good.  I was happy to get it done.

Austin (b. 1987) was a 5th round pick by the Marlins in the 2009 June Amateur Draft out of Elon University in NC.  He played in the Marlins system from 2009 to 2011, reaching High A.  He had 248 hits, 27 home runs and a .248 batting average.

I mailed to Austin on December 22 and got the card back on December 31, for a 9-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ryan LaMarre

Here are a couple nice cards I got signed TTM by Ryan LaMarre.  I had the 2016 Topps with my stuff, and I found the below 2010 Bowman at my LCS a while back.  Both cards turned out really well.
LaMarre (b. 1988) played in the majors from 2015 to 2019 for the Reds, Red Sox, A's, Twins and White Sox.  He had 53 hits, 4 home runs and a .236 batting average.

I mailed to LaMarre on October 27 and got the cards back on December 14, for a 48-day TAT.

TTM Success - Troy Conyers

I added another of the 2010 Bowman USA cards to my album with this TTM success from Troy Conyers.  The Sharpie was dying, but the card is signed.  I am missing maybe 4 or 5 of the guys in the set, which is closer to completion than I ever thought it would be.  I picked up the cards during the 2012 National in Baltimore at the suggestion of my friend, Ryan.

Conyers (b. 1994) was a 23rd round pick by the Braves in the 2017 June Amateur Draft out of the University of San Diego.  He only pitched one season in the Braves system (2017) but went 7-0 with a 1.91 ERA and 43 strike outs.  Conyers chose to retire after reaching A ball and now works at University of San Diego.

I mailed to Conyers on October 30 and got the card back on November 30, for a 31-day TAT.

TTM Success - Caleb Joseph

It was able to get a good many cards out of my Orioles box for this TTM that I sent to Caleb Joseph.  Joseph was in the Orioles organization for a long time, and when he finally got to the majors, there were a lot of O's fans who were really happy for the guy.  He was probably a season away from giving up his dream of playing in the majors when he finally got the call.

I got some really cool card signed, starting with the above 2016 Topps Mini that my buddy, Ryan gave to me.
I couldn't send a TTM request to him without sending the above 2010 Bowman.  I had so many of these and never was able to get one signed at Fan Fest.
I also got cards from 2015 and 2018 Topps signed, and they turned out really well.

Joseph (b. 1986) has played in the majors since 2014 for the Orioles, Diamondbacks and Blue Jays.  He has 281 hits, 32 home runs and a .222 batting average.

I mailed to Joseph on November 3 and got the cards back on November 16, for a 13-day TAT.

TTM Success - Chris Chinea

I have found a good place to locate addresses and have used it lately to get a bunch of older Bowman cards signed TTM.  I really started using it when I was searching for some of the guys in the 2010 Bowman USA set.  I've been able to get quite a few cards from the set signed.  There are some that I will probably have to wait to get, like Alex Bregman, but I've done pretty well overall.

I got this card signed by Chris Chinea in a red Sharpie, which actually fits the card.  I know red isn't usually good for autos; it'll probably fade after a while, but it looks cool today.

Chinea (b. 1994) was a 17th round pick in the 2015 June Amateur Draft by the Cardinals out of Louisiana State University.  He played in the minors from 2015 to 2019, then moved to the independent leagues in 2020.  In his 5 seasons in the minors, he had 442 hits, 42 home runs and a .275 batting average.

I mailed to Chinea on October 30 and got the card back on November 12, for a 13-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Matt Davidson

I don't like to double dip via TTM too often, but I saw these Matt Davidson cards in my box, and wanted to get them signed.  I had gotten Davidson last season (in August) on a couple cards.  I wanted to use these two Bowmans, and they turned out ok.
I mailed to Davidson on February 19, via Reds Spring Training and got the cards back on March 10, for a 20-day TAT.

TTM Success - Matt Olson

I had forgotten I sent this TTM request out last year, so when it came back a few weeks ago, I was very excited.  I've been working on the 2010 Bowman USA et for a while, and was so excited to be able to cross Matt Olson off of the list.  I had bought a bunch of the USA cards in bulk from a dime box at the 2011 National (my first one), and have seen a few of the players become stars (Alex Bregman, Olson, Albert Almora).  I'm glad Ryan talked me into getting the lot.
Olson has two First Bowman cards, it seems, as this 2012 Bowman has 1st Bowman printed on the front.  I guess they forgot he was in that USA set.

Olson (b. 1994) has played in the majors since 2016 (all for the A's).  He has 323 hits, 89 home runs and a .254 batting average.  He finished 4th in the 2017 AL Rookie of the Year voting (after only playing in 59 games).  He won the Gold Glove Award in 2018 and 2019, and finished 21st in the 2019 AL MVP voting.

I mailed to Olson on February 12, 2019, via A's Spring Training and got the cards back signed on February 3, 2020, for a 356-day TAT.
