TTM Success - Shane Turner

The above 1992 Donruss The Rookies card of Shane Turner came out of a pack of cards that Mom got me a long time ago.  I held it for a while and finally sent it out TTM.  It's a cool looking card, and now resides in the autograph album. 

I also foind this 1993 Topps of Turner and sent it along.

Turner (b. 1963) turned 62 today.  He played in the majors in 1988, 1991 and 1992 for the Phillies, Orioles and Brewers.  He had 28 hits, no home runs and a .236 batting average. 

I mailed to Turner on October 16 and got the cards back on November 21 for a 36-day TAT.

TTM Success - JT Bruett

The above 1992 Donruss The Rookies card of JT Bruett drove me to send a TTM request to him.  The card came out of a pack I got out of a box my mom gave me a while back.  I finally got around to sending to him, and am glad I can add this card to my autograph album. 

I also found the above 1993 Topps before I mailed, and included it with the request.

Bruett (b. 1967) played in the majors in 1992 and 1993 for the Twins.  He had 24 hits, no home runs and a .250 batting average.  I mailed to Bruett on October 16 and got the cards back on February 26 for a 133-day TAT.

TTM Success - Pat Rapp

I got a nice TTM success in from Pat Rapp recently that had been out for almost a year.  I was most excited by this awesome 1995 Fleer.  This freaky set really looks great signed, and I have toyed with the idea of buying a box so I can have some bulk of this set.

I was glad to get him on the 1992 Donruss Rookies card.  I also added a couple Topps cards to with album with the above 1993 Topps and the below 1995 Topps.

Rapp (b. 1967) played in the majors from 1992 to 2001 for the Giants, Marlins, Royals, Red Sox, Orioles and Angels.  He had a career record of 70-91 with a 4.68 ERA and 825 strike outs.

I mailed to Rapp on February 21, 2017 and got the cards back on January 8, 2018, for a 321-day TAT.

TTM Success - Harvey Pulliam

I added a few early 90s cards with this TTM success from Harvey Pulliam that I received.  This 1992 Donruss The Rookies turned out really nice, I think.  The card came out of one of the boxes that I got from my mom a while back.  It was in a pack that had been opened at the former card shop, then put away.  It's cool to have pulled it years later and sent it off for an auto.

These two cards are pretty plain, but they still are nice ones to add to the album.

Pulliam (b. 1967) played in the majors from 1991 to 1993 and 1995 to 1997 for the Royals and Rockies.  He had 49 hits, 8 home runs and a .262 batting average.

I mailed to Pulliam on August 5 and got the cards back on September 5, for a 31-day TAT.

TTM Success - Gary DiSarcina

Whenever I got back to my parents' house, Mom usually has boxes of cards that she has found while cleaning that date back to when I collected as a kid.  Recently, she handed me a pack of 1992 Donruss The Rookies and inside was this Gary DiSarcina (among other cards, of course).  I checked each of the cards to see if any of the players signed TTM, and here we are.  I always liked Donruss, and thought it was cool when they did the different color sets like Rookies or Update.

I got this 1993 Topps back as well.  DiSarcina kept the 1996 Flair that I sent.  I don't blame him, those are really nice cards.

DiSarcina (b. 1967) played in the majors from 1989 to 2000 for the Angels.  He had 966 hits, 28 home runs and a .258 batting average.  He was an All Star in 1995 where he also received his only MVP votes (19th).  He appeared on the 2006 Hall of Fame ballot, but did not receive any votes.

I mailed to DiSarcina on February 9 at Red Sox Spring Training and got the cards back on February 24, for a 15-day TAT.
