Another TTM Success From Alejandro Pena

I sent off a few more Alejandro Pena cards TTM because they had been sitting in a pile on my desk after I had gotten him to sign my 1987 Topps card and I realized he signed for a fee.  I would have sent more initially, but he only signed the 87, which was good.  I decided later on to go ahead and pay his (very minimal) fee and get a few more in my album.  The above 1985 Topps Glossy All Star set card was one that I knew would look awesome when signed.  It definitely does.
I hardly have any 1984 Donruss, so I wanted to get the one I had of Pena signed (above, left), and I threw in a 1990 Topps to round out the submission.  All of the cards I sent turned out great.  I took the rest of the cards I had of Pena and sent them out to some friends so they, too, could send to him.

I mailed to Pena on August 18 and got the cards back on August 24, for a 6-day TAT.  I paid a fee of $3.00/card.

Another TTM Success From Alejandro Pena

I had sent to him a while back, then got tired of waiting, so I did a private signing for my 1987 Topps.  Finally, a card came back signed from Alejandro Pena; this 1990 Topps Traded.  He sent the other cards back unsigned, and included a typed note saying that he is now signing for a fee.  I may try to send to him later on, but at this point, I am happy with what I have gotten.  At his rate of $3.00/card, I may send some more.  We'll see.

I sent this card on February 5, 2018 and got the card back signed on February 8, 2020, for a 733-day TAT.

TTM Success - Alejandro Pena

Another SCN private signing has helped me land another autograph for my 1987 Topps set.  I had sent to Alejandro Pena a while back, and never got a return, so I went ahead and took advantage of the low fee for this signing, and crossed the card off of my list.

Pena (b. 1959) played in the majors from 1981 to 1992 and 1994 to 1996 for the Dodgers, Mets, Braves, Pirates, Red Sox and Marlins.  He had a career record of 56-52 with 839 strike outs and a 3.11 ERA.  He was the NL ERA leader in 1984 (2.48) and won the World Series with the Dodgers in 1981 and 1988, and the Braves in 1995.

I mailed to the signing on September 14 and got the card back signed on October 5, for a 21-day TAT.
