TTM Success - Carmen Angelini

Another card that I picked up from my LCS in an effort to add more stuff to my album was this 2009 Bowman Sterling Carmen Angelini. I saw that he signed so I picked it up and sent it out.

Angelini (b. 1988) was a 10th round pick by the Yankees in the 2007 June Amateur Draft. He never made it out of the minors.

He played 6 seasons in the Yankees system, reaching AAA. He had 351 hits, 21 home runs and a .225 batting average.

I mailed to Angelini on October 14 and got the card back on November 14, for a 31-day TAT.

Instagram Deal With Andys.Cards

I met a fellow Oriole fan on Instagram named Andy who offered me this 2009 Bowman Sterling Nolan Reimold auto.  This is the 8th that I've added to the collection.  I was happy to make the deal with him.  He ended up sending me the Reimold "just because" and I picked up a Trey Mancini Inception auto for him since he is a huge Mancini fan.  We met up at Fan Fest and Andy hung out with Chris and I at Fan Fest.  Now we have been chatting regularly; it is always nice to meet a fellow Oriole fan.

Thanks for the deal, Andy!

COMC PC Pickups

I finally sold the 2010 Topps Pro Debut Henry Ramos printing plate on my COMC account, so that afforded me the chance to try to get a deal on a 2009 Bowman Sterling Nolan Reimold gold refractor auto.  I was able to make an offer, which the seller accepted, so now, I have this beauty.  It is numbered 43/50.  Believe me when I say, it looks so much better in person.  I have been wanting one of these for a long time, and now I have one.  I got it for a steal at $6.50.
I had enough store credit for another card, plus the $3.00 flat rate shipping, so I picked up this 2005 UD Ultimate Brian Roberts numbered 41/50 for $2.74.  I also got one of my friends a card as well, and then paid the $3 to have all of the cards shipped my way.

I hadn't bought off of COMC in a while, and I haven't sent a shipment in for sale in a while either.  My sales have significantly decreased on there, so I think it is about time I added some more inventory from some of the stuff I have been taking to card shows that isn't moving like I would have liked.

COMC is a great tool, but you have to work to keep your inventory updated and your prices right.  I still enjoy it, and have done well in finding nice parallels, like the cards shown above.

Reimold Care Package From Zach

I have been talking to my friend, Zach every day since our first deal.  He is a really great guy and has been a lot of fun to talk to.  He surprised me last week with a care package that had this 2009 Bowman Sterling dual auto refractor for my Reimold PC.  I had the base version already, but not the refractor.  This card is numbered 119/199 and looks awesome.  It is already in a magnetic case and team bag.

I was amazed at Zach's generosity when I got this card.  It didn't take a nice card for me to know he was a great guy, though.  He has gone out of his way to be a friend, which I definitely appreciate.

Thank you so much for the card, Zach!  I really appreciate it, but more importantly, thank you for the friendship!

Amazing Just Because Gift From Robert

When I talk to and trade with folks, I naturally try to be friendly and easy to get along with.  This usually results in making new friends, and building some pretty special relationships.  I have been trading with a guy named Robert, who goes by the name Huskys.Sportscards on Instagram for quite a while now.  He and I chat often and have become really close friends.  We were chatting a couple weeks ago when Robert told me that I should check my inbox on Instagram.  When I checked it, he had sent me a few pictures of cards.  I responded "those are nice."  He told me that he had some extra money in his Paypal and thought I deserved something nice.  It really blew me away.  So much so, and I'm not afraid to admit it, I teared up.  My being friendly with this guy had such an impact on him, he felt the need to pick this stuff up for me.  Believe me, it won't be forgotten.  Robert is such an amazing guy.

The above Nolan Reimold 2005 Bowman Chrome Draft Picks Refractor is really cool.  It is graded at a 9.5.  I have a ton of the base chrome, but this graded refractor is so cool!
I didn't have this 2015 Panini National Treasures Chris Davis auto in my collection yet, but Robert took care of that!  This is numbered 2/25 and looks really nice in person.  It is actually die cut, but I couldn't get it to scan properly, so I had to add a backdrop.
I love these 2009 Sterling autos of Nolan.  I got one of the black parallels from my friend, Michael, for Christmas, but Robert found this one for me as well.  This one is numbered 1/25.
Finally, Robert included this 2009 Bowman Sterling for my collection.  I now have 7 of these, and I don't mind that at all.  This might be one of my favorite cards in my collection, design-wise.  I was happy to be able to get another, especially from such a good friend.

Thank you so much for the amazing cards, Robert!  You really didn't have to get me anything, but it is so appreciated.  Thanks, Buddy!

Christmas Gift From Sam

I got half of my Christmas gift from my good friend, Sam, recently, with the other half on the way.  He says it is going to be something really good.  I don't know, though, because I really loved this half of it.  Ok, he told me what it is, and he's right, it's really amazing.  Sam got me some really cool cards to go with the gift, but the second half was delayed.  This Chris Davis patch from 2014 Panini National Treasures is really awesome.  It is a nice piece of patch numbered 9/25.
Sam hooked me up with another 2009 Bowman Sterling Nolan Reimold auto.  I love these cards, and am happy he sent it, regardless of how many I own.
Another card, among the many he sent, was this 2006 Bowman Futures Game relic of Nolan.  I had one of these already, but am happy for more.  With Nolan autos and relics, I don't care if I have duplicates.  I like getting any and all of them that I can get my hands on.

Thank you so much for the gifts, Sam!  You didn't have to get me anything else, but I'm happy you thought well enough of me to do so!

Christmas Gift From Michael

My buddy Michael's Christmas gift came yesterday and when I opened it, I was blown away.  I posted a couple days ago about how I had six of the 2009 Bowman Sterling Nolan Reimold autographs and I was going to be looking for the gold parallel sometime soon.  What I didn't know, however, was that there was a black parallel!  I may have seen one back in 09 when these came out, but I had obviously forgotten them.  This card looks awesome.  It is numbered 9/25 and is in amazing condition.  I plan on picking up a magnetic case soon, which is where this will reside.
Not to be overlooked, Michael also included this awesome Sonny Gray triple relic/auto from 2015 Triple Threads.  This one is numbered 62/75 and also looks awesome.  It will also be put in a magnetic case.

Michael really blew me away with his gifts.  He didn't have to go above and beyond for me, but he did.  I really love the gifts!

Christmas Package From Robert

I got an awesome Christmas care package from my little buddy, Robert, the other day and was really excited to see what he included.  Robert is fairly new to my little Instagram chat group, but he has assimilated into the group almost seamlessly.

Robert really came through and sent me some stuff that I love!  The above Christian Walker blue parallel auto from 2015 Inception just looks so cool!  It is numbered 75/150.  I actually don't think I have seen one of the blue autos yet.
Robert also included this 2009 Bowman Sterling auto of Nolan Reimold.  This is my favorite card of Reimold.  I have 6 of these now.  I still need to get myself the gold parallel.  These cards just look awesome.  Since I have so many, I ought to send one of them to be graded, you know, just for fun.  I may do that at some point.

Thank you so much for the Christmas gifts, Robert.  I appreciate it, and I am glad that we were able to meet and become friends these last few months!
