TTM Success - Danny Klassen

These cards of Danny Klassen had been out for signature for quite a while before finally coming back last week.  I had forgotten that I had mailed to him and had not gotten the cards, so when I opened the envelope, it was a nice surprise.  The TTM return was highlighted by the above 1999 Fleer Brilliants, which turned out great.  These are nice cards, and I have now gotten a few back for my autograph album.
I also got a 1997 Bowman Chrome, 1999 Bowman foil and a 1999 Topps signed by Klassen.  All of the cards turned out well, even with the 1997 Bowman Chrome having the UV issues that the set has.  I've found that the baby powder that I now use helps in reducing the cloudy effect on the cards, so some that I have mailed recently have looked a lot better.

Klassen (b. 1975) played in the majors from 1998 to 2000 and 2002 to 2003 for the Diamondbacks and Tigers.  He had 59 hits, 6 home runs and a .226 batting average.

I mailed to Klassen on September 1, 2020, and got the cards back on October 6, 2022, for a 765-day TAT.

TTM Success - Peter Tucci

1999 Fleer Brilliants is a really nice set.  I believe it was Fleer's attempt at a chrome set, and these are really sharp.  One of the bad things about the fall of past trading card companies was the fall of Fleer in the early-to-mid 2000s.  They had over-saturated the market with really nice sets and designs, but it seemed like they spread themselves too thin.  A lot of their stuff from the late 90s to early 2000s was ahead of its time, and really nice stuff to look at.

I was really happy to get this signed card back TTM from Peter Tucci.  The auto doesn't show up too great on the scan, but in person, the card is sharp.  I'd like to find a few more of these that I can send off.

Tucci (b. 1975) was a first round (31st overall) pick by the Blue Jays in the 1996 June Amateur Draft out of Providence College in Rhode Island.  He played in the minors from 1996 to 2001 in the Blue Jays, Padres and Mets systems.  He advanced to AA before calling it a career.  He had 594 hits, 84 home runs and a .20 batting average.

I mailed to Tucci on March 24 and got the card back on April 18, for a 25-day TAT.

TTM Success - Warren Morris

I had sat aside a few cards out of a box of 2000 Topps recently.  The cards were of guys who signed TTM, and Warren Morris was one of them.  I went to my LCS a couple weeks ago and added a few more cards to my pile.  The above 1999 Fleer Brilliants turned out really well, even though the scan doesn't do it justice.
I also got a 1998 Bowman and a 1999 Just Minors.  Both of them look really nice, also.  Note, Morris kept the 2000 Topps that started this whole thing, for some reason.  Still, I like what was returned, and I am happy with this TTM success.

Morris (b. 1974) played in the majors from 1999 to 2003 for the Pirates, Twins and Tigers.  He had 399 hits, 26 home runs and a .267 bating average.  He finished 3rd in the 1999 NL Rookie of the Year voting.

I mailed to Morris on January 23 and got the cards back on March 8, for a 44-day TAT.
