TTM Success - Drew Meyer

These two 2006 Topps Turkey Red cards came back signed by Drew Meyer the other day.  I was glad to add them to my album, since there aren't many Turkey Red in there.  I was surprised that I had the white parallel to go with the base.
Meyer (b. 1981) got into 5 games in 2006 for the Rangers.  He had 3 hits, no home runs and a .214 batting average.

I mailed to Meyer on March 2 and got the cards back on April 19, for a 48-day TAT.

50/50s and More From Gerard

Slowly, I am catching up on some old 50/50 posts.  It helps when I can combine several packages into one post, like this one from Gerard.  He took some 50/50s for me last season, and for whatever reason, I slacked on getting the cards posted to the blog.  He also had a couple signings, and I was able to help contribute to them.  I got a few cards in return that I'm really happy about.

The above 2019 Bowman Chrome green refractor of Hudson Potts was a nice 50/50 that Gerard hooked me up with.  The card looks great and is numbered 64/99.
Gerard knocked out a few Triston Casas cards for me as well.  Each of them looks awesome.
I have a ton of these Bowman Top 100 cards in my prospects box, so getting one out and signed by Casas was nice.  I need to find some folks who can hit some of the other Top 100 guys to help thin that set out of my box.
I pulled every Kelly Shoppach and Jeremy Hermida card I could find to help Gerard with a couple private signings.  Both of these Shoppachs turned out great.
I may have been the happiest about getting these Jeremy Hermidas back signed.  These are some cards and sets that I have very little of, so being able to find them and help with the signing was really nice/

Thanks for the cards, Gerard.  I hope I can send a few more your way soon.

TTM Success - Ryan Spilborghs

I had this 2006 Topps Turkey Red Gold on my COMC account for a while, but it never sold.  When I found out that Ryan Spilborghs signed TTM, I pulled it off of there and sent it off.  The card came back, and looks great.
I also had this 2010 Upper Deck, and it turned out ok.  The marker kind of faded, but otherwise, it looks nice.

Spilborghs (b. 1979) played in the majors from 2005 to 2011 for the Rockies.  He had 424 hits, 42 home runs and a .272 batting average.

I mailed to Spilborghs on June 29 and got the cards back on November 24, for a 148-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jeff Mathis

The two cards I got back from this TTM success from Jeff Mathis really turned out great.  The mid-2000s had some nice sets come out, and the two cards I got really show it.  The above card is a 2006 Topps Turkey Red.  It didn't take me long in figuring out this one was taking a ride in the envelope on the way to Mathis.

The above 2008 Topps Heritage also turned out well.  I love the 1959 Topps design, and this version of Heritage was great.

Mathis (b. 1983) has played in the majors since 2005 for the Angels, Blue Jays, Marlins, Diamondbacks and Rangers.  He has 519 hits, 50 home runs and a .195 batting average.

I mailed to Mathis on May 8 and got the cards back on June 2, for a 25-day TAT.
