TTM Success - Lance Niekro

I have been working non-stop lately to repopulate my TTM box, and I feel like I have found a ton of guys that I can send cards to.  One of them was former Giant, Lance Niekro.  I got three cards signed, and they all were sets that I don't have many cards of.

The above 2006 Upper Deck looks really cool.  I don't have much at all from this set, and I am glad that I sent this one in.
I found the above 2001 Bowman Heritage at my LCS.  The period of 1997 to 2003 holds a ton of stuff that I never opened.  I was out of the collecting game, and missed out on some gems.  The card looks awesome, and I was super excited to find it at the shop.

Of course, I had to get a Topps base card in there, and 2006 Topps is one set that I have very little of, as far as bulk cards are concerned.  I had a box of them that turned over and fell out of my truck in my move, and the cards ended up in the gutter just after a rainstorm.  Needless to say, most of the cards were ruined.

Niekro (b. 1979) is the son of the late Joe Niekro and the nephew of Hall of Famer, Phil Niekro.  He played in the majors from 2003 and 2005 to 2007 for the Giants.  He had 123 hits, 17 home runs and a .246 batting average.

I mailed to Niekro on September 30 and got the cards back on October 8, for an 8-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ben Davis

The above 2001 Bowman's Best that I got signed TTM by Ben Davis might be one of the best-looking cards that I have gotten back, so far.  The card looks so great, and Davis signing with a green Sharpie kind of adds to the novelty of the card.  I actually found a few 01 Bowman's Best at my LCS, so I have a couple other guys I can send to.  I hope those come back looking just at nice as this one.
I found these two Bowmans (a paper and chrome) from 1999 at my LCS, as well.  Both of them look great with the green Sharpie.
The 2000 Finest was yet another card from the LCS.  I have now gotten a few of these signed, and they all turn out really nice.  The baby powder helps them out tremendously.  The 2001 Bowman Heritage came from the February card show, and is what got me looking for Davis.  I needed to fill out a 10/$1.00 sale at the show, looked Davis up, and bought the card.  Now it is signed (as well as the others, of course), and will take a spot in my album.

Davis (b. 1977) played in the majors from 1998 to 2004 for the Padres, Mariners and White Sox.  He had 358 hits, 38 home runs and a .237 batting average.

I mailed to Davis on March 8 and got the cards back on May 1, for a 54-day TAT.

TTM Success - Bobby Seay

I found a really cool card while I was going through some boxes in the back on my LCS recently, which helped with this TTM success from Bobby Seay.  I had found the below card at the card show in February and after checking online, saw that he signed TTM.  I needed one more card so I would have a round number for $1.00 and picked it up.  Then, I found the above 1999 Topps Gold Label and decided to go ahead and send them on their way.
This is a 2001 Bowman Heritage, which looks really cool signed.  I wasn't collecting when these came out, but they are nice cards, even though the set they are based off of are pretty plain.  I'm talking about 1948 Bowman of course.

Seay (b. 1978) played in the majors in 2001 and 2003 to 2009 for the Devil Rays, Rockies and Tigers.  He had a record of 11-6 with s 4.16 ERA and 190 strike outs.

I mailed to Seay on March 20 and got the cards back on March 30, for a 10-day TAT.
