TTM Success - Bob Spence

This is another 1971 Topps that I got back signed TTM recently.  Bob Spence signed my card in thin black pen.  It turned out pretty well, even though his signature is pretty basic.

Spence (b. 1946) played in the majors from 1969 to 1971 for the White Sox.  He had 37 hits, 4 home runs and a .202 batting average.

I mailed to Spence on March 1 and got the card back on May 1, for a 61-day TAT.

TTM Success - Mike Kickham

A couple different 2013 cards came out of my box when I sent off to Mike Kickham.  I got both of cards back signed nicely in black marker.  The above 2013 Topps Pro Debut is one of only a few I had left over from back then.  I was glad to get it signed. 

I also got this 2013 Topps Update signed.

Kickham (b. 1988) played in the majors in 2013, 2014, 2020 and 2021 for the Giants, Red Sox and Dodgers.  He had a record of 1-4 with 49 strike outs and a 10.10 ERA.

I mailed to Kickham on March 6 and got the cards back on April 27, for a 52-day TAT. 

TTM Success - Jeff Karstens

Here is another TTM success that I got on some cards that took me a while to send out. I had this 2009 Topps Gold parallel of Jeff Karstens that I wanted to get signed, and finally dropped it in the mail.  The card turned out well.

I also sent off a 2006 Topps Rookie 52 and a 2012 Topps. 

Karsten (b. 1982) played in the majors from 2006 to 2012 for the Yankees and Pirates.  He had a record of 26-40 with 330 strike outs and a 4.44 ERA.

I mailed to Karstens on March 8 and got the cards back on April 17, for a 40-day TAT.  

Another TTM Success From Bob Saverine

Bob Saverine signed TTM for me back in 2016.  I actually had gotten him on a 1964 Topps back then, didn't search it, and sent another one to him.  Oh well.  I now have two. 

I also sent this 1991 Crown Orioles card, which is the one that started this second TTM request.

I mailed to Saverine on February 25 and got the cards back on April 13, for a 47-day TAT. 

TTM Success - Denny Stark

This 2003 Topps card of Denny Stark was just a random card in my box.  I checked to see if he signed TTM; he did, so I sent it off.  It turned out nicely and has been added to my autograph album. 

Stark (b. 1974) played in the majors in 1999, 2001 to 2004, and 2009 for the Mariners and Rockies.  He had a record of 15-14 with 127 strike outs and a 5.81 ERA.  He finishes 9th in the 2002 NL Rookie of the Year voting when he went 11-4 for the Rockies.

I mailed to Stark on January 17 and got the card back on April 11, for an 84-day TAT.

TTM Success - Rob Andrews

This was a nice TTM success from Rob Andrews that got some cards out of my TTM box that had been sitting in there for a long time.  The above 1978 Topps turned out nicely.

I also got a 1979 and a 1980 Topps signed. 

Andrews (b. 1952) played in the majors from 1975 to 1979 for the Astros and Giants.  He had 365 hits, 3 home runs and a .251 batting average.

I mailed to Andrews on November 23 and got the cards back on April 10, for a 138-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Armando Rios

These Armando Rios cards were in some of the boxes that I got from the former card shop.  I found them right after I had sent to him TTM a while back.  I had thought about sending to him again, but I waited a while, just in case he would remember my name and decide not to sign.  I really liked the above 1999 Fleer Ex Century card, so it was worth the wait.

I also got a 1999 Bowman and a 1999 Bowman Chrome signed.  The 2002 Topps Chrome refractor was a card that I had sent to him in my original TTM request, but it had come back unsigned.

I mailed to Rios on January 23 and got the cards back on April 10, for a 77-day TAT.
