I was approached on Instagram by a kid named Keegan who had this 2014 Museum Collection Chris Davis jumbo relic. I had picked up a signed Andrew McCutchen 8 x 10 from my friend, Max, and Keegan is a huge McCutchen fan, so it was an easy match. I already had one of these Davis relics, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to add another, so here it is. It is numbered 14/25.
To made the trade more balanced, Keegan included this Clayton Kershaw relic from 2014 Topps Tribute. I didn't have any Kershaw relics and I liked the green relic, so I had him add this card, which was among the list of cards he offered. This is 61/99.
Finally, Keegan let me pick up one of his IP autos to complete the deal. He got the better end of the deal, with me sending the McCutchen photo and a Job Pedersen die cut National Exclusive Allen & Ginter card. Still, he is happy with the deal, and so am I!

Museum Collection Pickup From The National
I was really happy with everything that I found at this year's National. Most every card I set out for, I was able to find. One thing I told myself was that if I saw any Museum Collection Orioles quads at the show, I would pick them up.
I found one for $15 at a booth, and jumped all over it. This has Manny, Jonesey, Gausman and of course, Chris Davis. It has patches from Manny and Davis, and jersey swatches from Jones and Gausman. The card is numbered 73/99. Including the Davis quads, I have 10 quad cards from 2014 Museum Collection. I really love the set and will keep picking them up, as long as I see them at reasonable prices.

Ebay Pickup - 2014 Topps Museum Collection Chris Davis Quad
When I look at these 2014 Topps Museum Collection quad patch cards, I can't help but feel like Topps his a grand slam with them. Maybe it's just me, but I think they did an amazing job. Maybe that's why I now have so many of them.
This is another piece of the "Baltimore" patch with the Maryland flag. I got it for $14 on Ebay; I couldn't pass it up. I need to make a special trip to the card shop this weekend to pick up some more magnetic cases. I have quite a few cards now that need magnetics.
I believe that I will continue to hoard these patch cards as I see them pop up here and there. They just look too cool.

Care Package From Sam H.
I have learned that there are a lot of guys named Sam on Instagram. When I went back to figure out what the screen name of the guy who sent me this care package, it took me quite a while to figure out which one it was. Luckily, I figured it out, and sportscards33 is the guy who hooked me up with a nice care package of Orioles cards.
In the package, there were several Brooks Robinson cards that I needed, like the Canvas Collection card at the top and this World Series Heroes card. Brooks is awesome, and I hope to be able to get a voucher to meet him again at this year's National. That is my goal, and it is a pretty attainable one, at that.
Finally, here is a nice emerald parallel of Cal Ripken from 2014 Topps Museum Collection. This is numbered 160/199. You can never go wrong with Museum Collection, in my opinion. It is really one of my favorite sets.
Thanks so much for the care package, Sam! I really appreciate it, and I will plan on doing some deals with you in the future!

Instagram Trade With Justin Lands Me Another Davis Quad
I completed a trade on Instagram recently with a kid named Justin that got me yet another Chris Davis quad relic from 2014 Museum Collection. I sent Justin an amazing card in return, but I didn't mind. It was a numbered to 3 Yonder Alonso relic/auto that I knew he would love a lot more than I would, and I got this Davis out of it.
I love Museum Collection so much and I have so many of these cards, now. I haven't gotten one of Davis's 2015 Museum Collection cards yet, but I know I will get one soon.
You can't really tell, but the card is 3/99. I'm really happy it came, and got here in good shape.

Huge Mega Deal With Michael
Recently, my very good friend, Michael, told me that he was getting back into baseball cards because of my influence. After a huge buying binge, Michael had a change of heart and decided that his spending was better served on memorabilia. While he planned on keeping major PC stuff, like his Pee Wee Reese PC, he decided to quickly part with his newly acquired autos and relics.
This is where I stepped in. Michael has been a good friend of mine for something like 3 years now, and we talk pretty much every day. I knew that he needed the money, so I was able to help him out.
We scheduled a Skype session for him to show me everything that he was putting up for sale and I gave him a "Yes or No" to express my interest. We went through every card he had made available and decided to itemize the cost so I could make payments, yet get the cards.
After going through all of the cards, and letting my initial sticker shock wear off, we settled on a deal. I was getting a great bulk price on the cards, and he was getting instant PayPal. Win win for both of us. Now, you will see all of the hits, and a couple throw ins that I got from my friend.
At the top of this post, you'll see an amazing acetate card from 2013 Leaf Trinity. That Hunter Harvey card is freaking amazing. Numbered (by hand) 44/58, it really looks awesome. Just so you know, the rest of what he sent is just as nice, if not better. So, here we go!
Michael sent me a couple booklet cards from 2014 Panini National Treasures. This Adam Jones booklet is especially awesome, since it has the "S" from the back of Jonesey's jersey. It is numbered 6/25. Another amazing card.
This Brooks Robinson booklet is a jumbo relic and auto card that looks awesome. This Brooks is numbered 15/25 and the auto is on what looks like some kind of acetate as well. I really like how the autos show up on there. I wish I could get a few more like that or the Harvey.
From one of my favorite offerings from the 2014 season was this Museum Collection quad card of Machado/Gausman/Davis/Jones. I had a couple of these and a couple quads of Davis, so when Michael made this one available, I jumped on it. This has a bat relic from Machado, a jersey swatch from Davis, a piece of patch from Jones and a 3-color patch from Gausman. A really nice card, numbered 59/75.
Next up is this jumbo patch/auto card of Adam Jones from 2014 Panini National Treasures. I was surprised that Michael was willing to let this go, as I thought he was pretty high on this card. The orange jersey swatch looks awesome scanned, as you can tell. This card, numbered 13/49, has an awesome example of Jones's signature.
Even more from 2014 Panini National Treasures is this awesome Brooks Robinson relic numbered 72/99. I had seen this on his Instagram before and wanted to deal for it. Now, I have it and I am really happy. This is a great card of Brooks.
One of the most amazing pieces that I got from Michael was this 2007 Topps Triple Threads triple relic card of Yogi Berra. Numbered 8/36, this Ruby parallel contains pieces of (flannel) jersey, bat and GLOVE! This is my first game-used glove card. So really awesome. I also love the wool jersey, which makes this the third in my collection. That would actually be a nice side PC, wool jersey cards. I am so taken aback by this card. It truly is epic!
Something had to follow up that Berra, so here is a dual relic card from 2009 UD Team USA. This card is numbered 256/499. I have increased my Gausman PC by a great deal, and adding this to my collection puts it right at the forefront of the PC.
I have seen prices of Topps Supreme stuff and am amazed at how low the price point is for a lot of the stuff that is out there. Everything I have seen from Supreme looks great, this Adam Jones included. This 2014 Topps Supreme Jones has a jumbo swatch of jersey and another nice Jonesey auto and is numbered 22/40. I want to add more Supreme to my collection, too bad Chris Davis wasn't included in last year's set.
Now, I couldn't let a 2009 Bowman Sterling Nolan Reimold auto out of my sight, so I had Michael add it to my "cart" when he showed it to me. This is either my third or fourth version of this card and they never cease in their beauty. I think this year of Bowman Sterling is one of their best offerings of all time.
On our itemized list, this card fell toward the bottom of Michael's pricing (which was beyond fair). His reason was that he wanted Chris to end up with this card. Numbered 3/27, this 2012 Topps Triple Threads has two relics each of Lincecum and Strasburg and three relics of Justin Verlander. Chris loved it when I showed it to him, and I told him that it would be his, once I got it in a magnetic case for him.
Michael busted a box of 2014 Bowman Sterling recently, and added some of his auto hits from his break into our deal. This Clint Frazier was one of the cards that I really wanted. I figured that I would pick him up and hold onto him since he is a really good prospect. I never really get into prospects, but I thought I would give one a shot. There are a few other prospects that I would be interested in collecting, but Frazier was at the top of the list of guys I wanted to pick up.
Speaking of Frazier, I went ahead and picked up this base card as well. I have already fended off kids asking me to trade for this card (and the green parallel), but I don't want to part with the Fraziers at all.
I did, however, pick up a few cards I wanted to use as trade bait. This Colin Moran is one of them...
...so is this Forrest Green (that I won in a "pull" that Michael did).
This Austin Meadows is also trade bait, but would command a bit more than the previous two guys.
I also picked up this Gregory Polanco for potential trade, but he and Meadows might be guys I would be inclined to hold onto. I do have to say that 2014 Bowman Sterling looks pretty awesome for 2014. I have heard a lot of complaining about Topps, but I have to say that there was a lot of stuff that came out in 2014 that looked awesome, so overall, I felt like 2014 was a banner year for cards. What do I know, though?
I picked up this Gosuke Katoh to send to one of my friends. It was pretty cheap and is a TTM auto. The card still looks great, and I know my buddy will love it.
Here is another card from the pulls I did with Michael. This Trevor Williams numbered 73/810 will be for sale or trade, as I don't know who he is.
I was happy to add some of the 2015 Topps First home run coil cards. This Adam Jones and the below Chris Davis both look awesome in person.
Sadly, the cards don't sell for a lot, so I could have bought one cheaply, but I tried to work out a deal with someone and they wanted WAY too much for them. Oh well.
I didn't know that Topps brought back Gold Label cards last year, but Michael threw in this Cal Ripken Gold Framed Gold Label card in our deal. A rare Ripken that I didn't already have, this 61/99 card looks really cool. When he first showed it to me, I thought it was the late 90s version, which I have several of, but no, it was from 2014 (and framed), so cool!
Another prospect card that I plan on holding onto is this 2015 Topps Rusney Castillo gold parallel RC. Numbered 1,014/2,015, this is a hot commodity right now. I could probably sell or trade it for something decent, but I thought it would look good in my RC box.
Getting toward the end of the pile, Michael added this 2007 Topps Opening Day card of the Oriole Bird, with an IP signature. This is really cool, and I will likely add it to Chris's collection. I think he will really enjoy it.
A Bob Feller card for my PC is another throw in from Michael. Numbered 477/500, this 2005 Donruss Timeless Treasures Feller looks really nice. I have never seen any of these before, so I was happy to add this.
Finally, Michael threw in my current favorite card from 2015 Topps. This Eddie Vedder first pitch card is awesome. I already had two in my collection, but Michael knew my love of Pearl Jam, and included it in the deal. The only complaint I have from this subset is that Topps really should have worked to have autographs included in this. I would LOVE a Vedder auto, and pulling one would probably put me on the floor.
So, there you have it, my epic deal with Michael. I was so happy to get this stuff in today. I told Michael that I would break this up into several posts, but if I did that, there is stuff here in my 'to be blogged' pile that wouldn't get posted til next year.
Thank you so much for the deal, Michael! I hope the money I sent helps you out. I look forward to future deals, but let me build some money back up, haha!

Another Surprise Package From Dana
I got another surprise package from Dana, recently (one of two, actually. The other is in my queue to be blogged). I liked this one so much, because it saved me from having to buy some cards I have been looking at, recently. The above Museum Collection (I know Andrew can't get enough Museum Collection) Canvas Collection Brooks Robinson will look great in my Brooks PC. I have been wanting one of these since they came out.
I had also been wanting the Museum Collection base card of Chris Davis for my PC as well. Thankfully, Dana hooked me up with this as well. I won't have to use any store credit on COMC to pick one up, now. I can use that on other stuff, like set needs.
Finally, Dana hooked me up with a ton of Gypsy Queen. Here is the mini Chris Davis that I got from her. I think I got each Oriole that was featured in the set, so I probably won't need to buy too many more packs of these.
Thanks so much for the package, Dana! I have your other one here on my desk. I've been chipping away at the trade stack and hope to post the other stuff soon, but there are a few things slated ahead of it.

Ebay Pickup - 2014 Topps Museum Collection Chris Davis Bat
I got an absolute steal off of Ebay recently when I picked up this 2014 Topps Museum Collection Chris Davis jumbo bat relic card for $5.55 plus shipping. I had seen a bunch of these as buy it now for $45.00 or more. I bid on this one before I left for Columbia this past weekend and saw that I had won it when I rolled into my brother's place.
Davis should be coming off the DL right after he is eligible on May the 11th and I can't wait to get him back healthy. His bat is sorely missed and I hope he can go off on a tear of home runs so folks can shut up about last year being a fluke.

Another Amazing Chris Davis Patch
Thanks to my buddy Michael, I was tipped off on another Chris Davis quad patch card from 2014 Museum Collection that had a really cheap Buy It Now price of $45. This time, the card has more of the Maryland flag patch and it looks really cool.
The card is numbered 4/99. I can't get enough of these cards and I can't sit here and tell you that if I saw another at that price, I wouldn't pick it up. These have definitely been great pickups for my Chris Davis PC. Let's just hope the Orioles sign him long-term and he can be an Oriole for a long time.
Thanks for the tip, Michael!

Awesome 2014 Topps Museum Collection Chris Davis Patch
Thanks to my very good friend, Andrew, I was able to find this amazing 2014 Topps Museum Collection Chris Davis patch card on Ebay. Something really cool about the card, that I didn't catch right away, was that it was numbered 53/99. Chris Davis hit 53 home runs last year. EBAY 1 OF 1 BABY!
As you can see, the card is amazing. It has part of one of the sleeve patches, likely the Maryland flag portion. The card scanned really nice, as well. It did set me back quite a bit, but I didn't care. The card is amazing and I'm glad I have it.
Thanks for spotting it for me Andrew.
Speaking of Andrew, he is having a contest over at his blog. Who doesn't want free cards? That's right, so head on over there and sign up. Maybe you'll get something cool for free from an awesome guy! You can find his blog right here.

From Instagram - Another 2014 Topps Museum Collection O's Quad Relic
I made a deal with a kid named Adam on Instagram recently when I purchased this 2014 Topps Museum Collection quad relic Orioles card. I might have overpaid by just a little bit, but Adam seems like a good guy and I didn't mind helping him out in exchange for this card.
This one has patches from Manny Machado and Adam Jones and jersey relics from Kevin Gausman and Chris Davis. The card is numbered 33/99.
I know I've said it already, but I'll say it again, I love Museum Collection. I have two more of these cards I want to show, so keep on the lookout over the next few days. I have a ton of other stuff I want to show off, too, so I may mix other stuff in here and there.
Thanks for the deal, Adam, I hope we can trade again!

Ebay Pickup - 2014 Topps Museum Collection Orioles Quad - Amazing Patch
Ok, I'll admit it. I have never been more excited about a high end product than I have been about 2014 Topps Museum Collection. Ok, well, I did LOVE 2006 Upper Deck Epic. Anyway, the Orioles patches I have seen on the 2014 Museum Collection cards have been amazing.
Look no further than the patch next to Chris Davis. That, my friends, is a piece of the 2012 sleeve patch commemorating the 20th anniversary of Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Don't believe me? Take a look:
To me, this is just an amazing patch on a card. I won't use the term "sick" because I feel like that is overused, but it definitely is amazing. THanks to my good buddy, Michael, for providing me with a picture of the actual patch.
Just so you guys know, I have a few more of these patch cards coming and you know that each will be posted on here.

More From Dana - 2014 Topps Museum Collection Adam Jones Jumbo Relic
I got this amazing Adam Jones jumbo bat relic as part of my latest package from my friend, Dana. This card has a huge piece of bat and is numbered 2/5. AWESOME!
I don't have a whole lot of Adam Jones autos or relics, so getting this card in my collection is huge.
Thanks so much for the card, Dana!

2014 Topps Museum Collection Box Break and New Trade Bait
I got excited last night and spent some of my tax return on a box of Topps Museum Collection. I don't buy high-end stuff much at all, but I figured that since I was doing well money-wise, it would be fun to break a box.
I picked up the box at my LCS and broke it here at the house over Skype with Andrew. I didn't get any huge hits and nothing for any PCs, but I had a good time busting it.
What I wasn't expecting was the contentious negotiations that followed when I posted some pics of the cards in various trade outlets. Look, I know someone want to get stuff for cheap, but it baffles me when someone gets downright rude when they don't agree with what I'm looking for in return. You can just say no and move on.
Anyway, Listed are all of the big hits and a couple base cards that I'm willing to sell (via Paypal) or trade (for comparable Orioles). If you're interested, great, drop me a line. If not, that's cool, too, just enjoy looking at the cards. I'm inclined to keep them instead of yard sale them anyway.
I thought this Tulo was pretty cool and so did everyone else who wanted to trade for it. I almost had a deal, but the person got cold feet at the end. Oh well.
This one was the source of my frustration. Someone told me that one sold for $10 on Ebay and that was all I would get for it. To that, I say: "Then you should have bought the $10 on Ebay, then." because there is no way in hell I am letting this go for only $10. I don't care what the completed listings say (and I looked, there were none that went for that low).
Finally, here are a couple base cards. I would be happy to trade these for Chris Davis base out of Museum or Tribute, if anyone has them. I'd also be interested in Jones and Machado as well.
So, thanks for listening to me vent, guys. This is why I typically hang onto my cards or just sell them on Ebay. It seems that everyone wants something for nothing.
