TTM Success - Jose Cruz Jr

Some really nice cards came back signed TTM from Jose Cruz, Jr.  I had met him last summer in Erie when he was up for Trei Cruz's birthday; I wish I had known so I could have cleaned out my collection.  Thankfully, I found a LCS close to Erie and I picked up some cards to get signed IP.  Still, I had a bunch of his stuff in my boxes, so i sent to him TTM via Rice University.  The above 1999 UD SP Authentic is a reappy sharp card that I was happy to get back signed.
I also had a cool 1999 Pacific Private Stock (above left) that looks good in the album.  I topped it off with two Topps cards, a 2001 and a 2002.  All of the cards look great.

Cruz (b. 1974) played in the majors from 1997 to 2008 for the Mariners, Blue Jays, Giants, Devil Rays, Diamondbacks, Red Sox, Dodgers, Padres and Astros.  He had 1,167 hits, 204 home runs and a .247 batting average.  He finished second in the 1997 AL Rookie of the Year voting (behind Nomaaahhhh).  He won a Gold Glove Award in 2003.

I mailed to Cruz on December 27 and got the cards back on January 16 for a 20-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From AJ Hinch

There really are some hidden gem sets from the late 90s that I missed out on while I was on a break from cards.  Theabove 1999 Upper Deck SP of AJ Hinch was the reason I sent to him TTM again.  The card is really nice and looks great signed.
I also sent off this 2000 Upper Deck.  I was away from cards from around 1998 to 2005 while I was off at college, pretty much. I got back into them during the 2005 season and haven't stopped since.  I missed a small window of some nice stuff, though.  Some of those sets are really fun to look through.

I had gotten Hinch several times TTM.  I mailed to him this time via Tigers Spring Training on February 13 and got the cards back on June 15, for a 122-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Juan Gonzalez

This was a very colorful TTM success from Juan Gonzalez.  I found all of these cards in my boxes that I got from the LCS when it closed.  This 1992 Diamond Kings turned out well, and I really love this set.  I want to add some more to my collection.
I also enjoy the 2001 Fleer EX set, and have gotten a few of these signed.  This is a really nice hidden gem of a set and the cards look great when signed.
Finally, here are the other 4 cards that made the cut from what I sent.  I sent a 2000 Bowman Chrome Teen Idols (top left), 2000 Fleer Gamers (top right), 1994 Stadium Club chrome (bottom right) and a 1999 Upper Deck SP Authentic (bottom left).

I mailed to Gonzalez on March 11 and got the cards back on April 3, for a 23-day TAT.
