I added another 1954 Topps to the autograph album with this success from Mel Roach. This was another vintage card that I picked up at the Raleigh card show in February. The card itself is a little rough, but it still turned out pretty well.
Roach (b. 1933) played in the majors from 1953, 1954 and 1957 to 1962 for the (Milwaukee) Braves, Cubs and Phillies. He had 119 hits, 7 home runs and a .238 batting average. He missed the 1955 and 1956 seasons due to military service.
I mailed to Roach on February 13 and got the card back on February 23, for a 10-day TAT.
