I was excited when these came in after mailing to the Hall of Fame, but after further review, and seeking opinions from some friends, I received a TTM "success" from someone other than Mike Schmidt.
I was disappointed, too, because I figured that if I sent via the HOF, I had a good shot of getting a legit signature back. However, that wasn't the case, and I have a couple of novelty cards in my album.
I just hate that I ended up wasting some sharp 87s, and will have to pay to meet Schmidt in order to insure that I will get legitimate autos for my set. Oh well, it was worth a shot (and 2 stamps, 2 cards and about 15 minutes of my time).
I mailed to the Hall of Fame on April 23 and got these cards back on May 11, for an 18-day TAT.

TTM Success - Michael Bowden
Here are some nice cards that I got back signed in a TTM success from former pitcher, Michael Bowden. The above 2009 Goudey turned out real sharp. I like the cards like this, Heritage, Chicle; stuff with bold colors. They tend to do well when signed and scanned for the blog.
I also got a 2009 UD SP Authentic and a 2010 Topps signed. They both look great.
Bowden (b. 1986) played in the majors from 2008 to 2013 for the Red Sox and Cubs. He had a career record of 3-5 with 100 strike outs and a 4.51 ERA.
I mailed to Bowden on April 29 and got the cards back on May 9, for a 10-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Grant Jackson
I got another card from the 1991 Orioles Crown set signed by sending another TTM request to Grant Jackson. He signs quickly, and I had a couple other cards that I hadn't yet gotten signed.
I found these two Topps cards (1973 and 1974) and sent them along to get signed. The last time I sent to him, I had gotten cards from 1972, 1976, 1981 and 1982 signed. He has a really nice signature, and all of the cards I have sent him look really nice.
I mailed to Jackson on April 27 and got the cards back on May 9, for a 12-day TAT.

Yet Another TTM Success From Eddie Robinson
I decided to send to Eddie Robinson again so I could get my 1991 Crown Orioles card signed by him while I still had the chance. He is 99, but still signing, which is cool.
Robinson will be 100 in December and is the last living member of the 1948 World Series Champion Indians. I have gotten him TTM several times, and he is a really super guy. I even bought a signed copy of his book.
I mailed to Robinson on April 27 and got the card back on May 9, for a 12-day TAT. I paid his fee of $10/card.

TTM Success - Aaron Civale
I didn't get many signed cards back from Spring Training, but some did come in like this TTM success from Indians pitcher, Aaron Civale. I sent off a 2020 Topps (above) and a 2019 Heritage (below) and they look great.
Civale (b. 1995) made his Major League debut last season with the Indians. He was an Indians 3rd round pick in the 2016 June Amateur Draft out of Northeastern University.
Last season Civale went 3-4 with 46 strike outs and a 2.34 ERA. This was in 10 games (10 starts).
I mailed to Civale on February 10 and got the cards back on May 9, fr an 89-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ed Crosby
I can't tell you which era of cards I have gotten signed more, but if I had to guess, it might be the 70s. I have a lot of bulk boxes of 70s stuff, and have been getting those cards signed since 2016. I like seeing the retro uniforms, the cool hairstyles and the Topps designs of those years.
This TTM success from Ed Crosby dipped into those 70s cards, and the above 1976 Topps is a really nice one to get back. 1976 was a good, but simple, design, and I have enjoyed adding those to my albums.
1973 Topps is also a simple design, and Topps was trying a lot harder for action shots, as opposed to portraits and staged shots. I like the 73 set, even though the photography looks like I shot it with a basic film camera. Hey, they have come a long way.
Crosby (b. 1949) played in the majors in 1970 and from 1972 to 1976 for the Cardinals, Reds and Indians. He had 149 hits, no home runs and a .220 batting average. He is the father of former major leaguer, Bobby Crosby.
I mailed to Crosby on April 27 and got the cards back on May 8, for an 11-day TAT.

TTM Success - Scott Elarton
I had Scott Elarton's cards in my box for a long time before I finally made myself send the cards out. They all turned out well, and I was glad to add them to my album.
Elarton (b. 1976) played in the majors from 1998 to 2001 and 2003 to 2008 for the Astros, Rockies, Indians and Royals. He had a career record of 56-61 with 698 strike outs and a 5.29 ERA.
