Another TTM Success From Chas McCormick

Because I found this 2022 Topps Chrome Ben Baller parallel of Chas McCormick, I really wanted to send to him (McCormick) again.  I did, and sent two other cards, as well.

Everything I sent turned out nicely.  He signed the 22 chrome, a 2023 and 2024 Topps.

I also included a donation of $10/card to his local food bank.  He included these business cards requesting the donations, which I kept.

McCormick (b. 1995) has played in the majors since 2021, for the Astros.  As of today, he has 325 hits, 55 home runs and a .249 batting average.  He won the World Series with the Astros in 2022.

I mailed to McCormick on January 13 and got the cards back on January 29 for a 16-day TAT.

Some Independent League Autos From Mike W

Last season, I sent some cards to a guy I met while graphing in High Point for him to get signed in Gastonia.  I wasn't able to get down there, so Mike W. got a few cards signed for me.  I was able to send him some Curtis Terry cards I had, which was nice.  The Terry cards were left over from when a friend of mine was going to see Saint Paul.  Terry was released and ended up in independent ball.

Mike also got a couple Jack Reinheimer cards signed for me.  I had gotten Reinheimer TTM a couple years ago, but had a couple cards left over.

The above 1990 Topps Goose Gozzo was another card someone had missed during a 50/50.

Finally, these three Zach Jarrets were missed by me when I wasn't able to get him after he came through here with Frederick.  He was released by the Orioles and ended up on Gastonia.  I'm glad I was able to get these team set cards done, finally.

I hope to see Mike again in High Point.  I really enjoy going there and getting those independent guys.

TTM Success - Jakson Reetz

Jakson Reetz is a player who I graphed originally at Wood Ducks games and has graduated to the majors.  I got him to sign two cards TTM, the above 2022 Topps and the below 2022 Topps Chrome.

The cards turned out nicely, even though the marker started to die on the bottom card.

Reetz (b. 1996) played in the majors in 2021 for the Nationals.  He had one hit, no home runs and a .500 batting average over the two games in which he played.  He became a free agent after the 2021 season and signed with the Brewers for 2022.  He didn't make it back to the majors in 22 after being released by the Brewers and picked up by the Royals.  He was resigned by the Royals at the end of 2022, and has a shot to be called up again for the 2023 season.

I mailed to Reetz on January 6 and got the cards back signed on January 21, for a 15-day TAT.
