TTM Success - Tommy Joseph

A private signing came around with Orioles (likely soon-to-be-former) assistant hitting coach, Tommy Joseph.  My friend Michael hosted the signing and hooked me up with some cards i didn't have.

This signing was cool in that I got a few Topps Heritage cards added to the autograph album. I can't remember which cards were mine and which were ones Michael chipped in.

Joseph (b. 1991) played in the majors in 2016 and 2017 for the Phillies.  He had 200 hits, 43 home runs and a .247 batting average. 

I mailed to Joseph on April 21 and got the cards back on May 15 for a 24-day TAT. I paid a fee of $6/card.

TTM Success - Phil Gosselin

Here are a few Topps Heritage cards that I got signed TTM by Phil Gosselin.  The above 2016 Heritage turned out nicely. 

I also sent off a 2017 and 2022 Heritage.  I don't get into my Heritage stuff as much as I would like, so getting these signed was nice.

Gosselin (b. 1988) played in the majors from 2013 to 2022 for the Braves, Diamondbacks, Pirates, Rangers, Reds, Phillies and Angels.  He had 281 hits, 17 home runs and a .254 batting average. 

I mailed to Gosselin on March 3 and got the cards back on April 12 for a 40-day TAT.

TTM Success - Trey Mancini

A private signing with former Oriole, Trey Mancini popped up that I jumped on.  I wanted to finish the above 2017 Topps Heritage rookie card that I had already gotten signed by Donnie Hart at Orioles Fan Fest years ago.  I had hoped to get the card signed sooner, but at least it's done.

I found the 2017 Topps Chrome refractor in my Orioles box and decided to add it to the submission.  I sent the two cards off, then found the green ice foil parallel from 2021 Topps.  I reached out to the signing promoter and he allowed ke to add the foil card to the submission.  So, this was kind of a dual TTM.  Not that it matters.

Mancini (b. 1992) is attempting a comeback for the 2025 season after opting out of his minor league deal with the Marlins this past Spring Training.  He has played in the majors from 2016 to 2019 and 2021 to 2023 for the Orioles, Astros and Cubs.  He missed the 2020 season while battling stage 3 colon cancer.  He had 801 hits, 129 home runs and a .263 batting average.  

I mailed the first two to the signing on August 12; the foil card on August 30.  I got all three cards back on October 7 for 38 and 56-day TATs.  I paid a fee of $20/card.

TTM Success - Ty Blach

Some really cool cards got added to my autograph album when I got this TTM success from Ty Blach.  The above 2018 Topps Big League turned out really nicely.  I don't have many cards from this set in my album, even thought I have a bunch of base.  I was handed a lot of the base cards at a National after someone I knew busted a box.  They're never the first box I go through when looking for cards to get signed, though, so it gets tough to add them to the album.

I also added a 2017 Topps Heritage and a 2017 Topps 87 insert.  Both look really cool, and I was glad I thought to send them along.

Blach (b. 1990) played in the majors from 2016 to 2019 for the Giants and Orioles.  He has a record of 16-22 with 178 strike outs and a 4.99 ERA.  He is currently in the Orioles system, having pitched in the Florida Complex league and Delmarva on rehab assignments.

I mailed to Blach on April 29, 2020, and got the cards back on March 29, 2021, for a 334-day TAT.

TTM Success - Chris Iannetta

I added some nice cards to the album with this success from Rockies catcher, Chris Iannetta.  I had seen on Instagram that he was signing, and sent a few cards out.

Iannetta (b. 1983) has played in the majors since 2006 for the Rockies, Angels, Mariners and Diamondbacks.  He has 788 hits, 135 home runs and a .230 batting average.

I mailed to Iannetta on July 26 via the Rockies and got the cards back on August 27, for a 32-day TAT.
