TTM Success - Scotty Layfield

Another early 2000s Bowman that Ryan sent me came back signed TTM recently. This 2002 Bowman of Scotty Layfield turned out well. I like the 2002 Bowman design; it os easy to recognize, unlike some of the other early 2000s Bowman designs, which all look similar.

Layfield (b. 1976) was a 20th round pick by the Cardinals in the 1999 June Amateur Draft out of Valdosta State University. He played in the minors from 1999 to 2003 in the Cardinals system, reaching AAA. He had a record of 11-15 with 222 strike outs and a 3.23 ERA.

I mailed to Layfield on December 12 and got the card back on January 3, for a 22-day TAT.
