This 1997-98 Flair Showcase Wave of the Future card of Corey Beck randomly showed up in one of my boxes. I'm guessing it came from the former LCS boxes, but at this point, I have no idea. It's a funky card, sealed in a sort of thicker penny sleeve with some kind of gel substance to give it the look of being in water. It's pretty cool, even though the outer plastic didn't age too well. Beck signed the card for me TTM, and I have a cool oddball card in the autograph album.
Beck (b. 1971) played professionally for the Charlotte Hornets in the 1995-96 and 1997-98 and 1998-99 seasons and the Detroit Pistons in the 1998-99 season. He played in 88 games and had 241 points and 123 assists.
I mailed to Beck on March 12 and got the card back signed on April 4 for a 23-day TAT.
