Washington (b. 1951) played in the majors from 1974 to 1975 for the A's. He had no plate appearances, since he was strictly used as a pinch runner. A former track star, Washington had 31 stolen bases in the 105 games in which he appeared.
I mailed to Washington on January 19 and got the card back on January 27, for an 8-day TAT.

Herb is/was a multi business (McDonalds franchise) owner among others here in the Youngstown Ohio area. When my kids were in H.S. they worked at a few of his McD's. Seemed like a good guy.
