Gus Triandos (b. 1930) played from 1953 to 1965 for the Yankees, Orioles, Tigers, Phillies and Astros. He is mostly known as an Oriole, having been inducted into the Orioles Hall of Fame in 1981. He was primarily a catcher, even though the front of this card says he is a first baseman. He retired with 954 career hits, 167 home runs and a .244 batting average. He wore uniform number 11 for the O's and represented them in the All Star game in 1957, 58 and 59.
