Thornton Kipper (b. 1928 - d. 2006) played in the majors from 1953 to 1955 for the Phillies. He had a career record of 3-4 with 35 strikeouts and a 5.27 ERA. He was also a standout in college, pitching for the University of Wisconsin-Madison.(DECEASED 34)
