Christmas Gift From Vince - Signed 1987 Topps John Morris

My good friend, Vince, sent me this signed 1987 Topps John Morris for Christmas.  It came in today, and I wanted to go ahead and get it posted and into my 1987 album.

Vince is a great guy, and I was able to have dinner with he and his parents at this past year's National.  I'm hoping I can get up his way next season and do some graphing with him.

Morris (b. 1961) played in the majors from 1986 to 1992 for the Cardinals, Phillies and Angels.  He had 145 hits, 8 home runs and a .236 batting average.

Thank you so much for the gift, Vince!

Some 50/50s From Vince

I sent a few cards off to my friend, Vince in Illinois, toward the end of the MiLB season.  He got a few of the cards signed for me, but wasn't able to see all of the teams that he thought he would have.

Still, a few of the cards got done, and turned out well.
I had bought a Midwest League All Star set because I knew some of the guys would come up through the Carolina League, and Vince told me he would try to get some of the guys that I might not see.  He got these 4 cards done, and they look great.
He also got these two Freudis Nova cards done.  Nova is likely to come through Fayetteville next season,  but it was nice to go ahead and get these two cards signed.

Thanks for taking the 50/50s, Vince!

2019 National Free Signer - Jack McDowell

I have gotten Jack McDowell TTM a few time, so when I saw he was signing at the National as one of the VIP signers, I scrambled to find some cards.  Luckily, I was able to find some, including the above 2013 Panini USA card that has been floating around in my box for what seems like forever (6 years actually).
I found these three cards in the same box that I found my Cory Snyders in, so I was able to move some old stuff out of some of the closet boxes.  That is always a plus for me.

I had help in getting these cards signed.  Michael went through the line while I was waiting for Jim Perry, and my friend, Vince, went back through with some of my Wild Cards.
