TTM Success - John Aiello

While looking through boxes at a recent show, I found this 2013 Panini USA card of John Aiello. I checked him on SCN and saw he had a high success rate for TTM, but no returns since 2021. I gave it a shot and sent to him anyway, and got the card back signed not too long after.

Aiello (b. 1997) was a 14th round pick by the Blue Jays in the 2018 June Amateur Draft out of Wake Forest University. He played in the minors in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022 in the Blue Jays system, reaching AAA. He had 178 hits, 19 home runs and a .276 batting average.

I mailed to Aiello on December 9 and got the card back on December 29, for a 20-day TAT.

TTM Success - Hoby Milner

Three more Spring Training TTM successes came in today, just when I had said that I doubted I would get many returns this season.  I believe this is the first "normal" Spring Training in quite a while.  I took q chance on a few guys to see about moving some cards out of my boxes, and one of those that came back today was Hoby Milner.  I had the above 2013 Panini USA card in my boxes since 2013, and finally was able to get it signed.
I also sent out this 2019 Panini Donruss that was in one of the boxes from the former LCS.

Milner (b. 1991) has played in the majors since 2017 for the Phillies, Rays, Angels and Brewers.  He has a record of 5-4 with 199 strike outs and a 3.53 ERA.

I mailed to Milner via Brewers camp on February 12 and got the cards back today (March 5), for a 22-day TAT.

TTM Success - Richie Shaffer

I have to say, man Stadium Club looks nice when it is signed.  Those are some nice cards, and being able to get one of them signed is always nice.  The above 2016 Stadium Club is one of the two cards I got back from Richie Shaffer when I sent to him TTM.
I also got this 2013 Panini USA Baseball card signed.  This was back when Shaffer went to school with my good friend, Corbin.  I haven't talked to Corbin in forever, but every time I see one of Shaffer's cards, I always think of him.

Shaffer (b. 1991) played in the majors in 2015 and 2016 for the Rays.  He was a first round pick (25th overall) by the Rays in the 2012 June Amateur Draft out of Clemson.  Before that, he went to Providence High School in Charlotte.  He had 26 hits, 5 home runs and a .213 batting average.

I mailed to Shaffer on August 4 and got the cards back on September 3, for a 30-day TAT.

TTM Success - Chris Cullen

Ok, I got excited.  I looked Chris Cullen up, saw that he was a South Carolina Gamecock, and on their page, it said he went to West Forsyth High School.  Then I remembered that there is a Forsyth County in Georgia, too.  Oops, I got excited.  Anyway, I was wanting to get this card signed, because I came across it every time through my box, and never had heard of Cullen.  I thought he may be out of baseball.  It turns out, he finished up his senior season at University of South Carolina in 2019.  He was drafted by the A's in 2015, but has not been drafted nor signed since.  Maybe he will turn up in Independent ball.

I mailed to Cullen on May 2 and got the card back on May 16, for a 14-day TAT.

2019 National Free Signer - Jack McDowell

I have gotten Jack McDowell TTM a few time, so when I saw he was signing at the National as one of the VIP signers, I scrambled to find some cards.  Luckily, I was able to find some, including the above 2013 Panini USA card that has been floating around in my box for what seems like forever (6 years actually).
I found these three cards in the same box that I found my Cory Snyders in, so I was able to move some old stuff out of some of the closet boxes.  That is always a plus for me.

I had help in getting these cards signed.  Michael went through the line while I was waiting for Jim Perry, and my friend, Vince, went back through with some of my Wild Cards.
