TTM Success - Colby Lewis

This TTM success from former pitcher, Colby Lewis, added some nice cards to the autograph album.  The above 2015 Topps Stadium Club is a great card, from a great set, and I was glad to get it signed.
I also got a 2010 Topps Update and a 2015 Topps Heritage signed by Lewis, and both turned out nicely, as well.

Lewis (b. 1979) played in the majors from 2002 to 2004, 2006 to 2007, 2010 to 2012 and 2014 to 2016 for the Rangers, A's and Tigers.  He had a record of 77-72 with 961 strike outs and a 4.70 ERA.

I mailed to Lewis on May 10, 2021, and got the cards back on December 17, 2022, for a 586-day TAT.

TTM Success - Asher Wojciechowski

That's a tough last name.  I believe is it pronounced Whoaj-see-chow-ski.  Anyway, I got some cards signed TTM by Asher Wojciechowski, a former Oriole.  This 2015 Topps Heritage turned out nicely, and is a nice add to the autograph album, since I didn't have many of these in there.
I also got a 2010 Donruss Elite Extra Edition and a 2009 Upper Deck signed.

Wojciechowski (b. 1988) played in the majors in 2015, 2017 and 2019 to 2021 for the Astros, Reds, Orioles and Yankees.  He had a record of 9-15 with 195 strike outs and a 5.93 ERA.

I mailed to Wojciechowski on September 26 and got the cards back on November 7, for a 42-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ryan Rua

TTM successes have been very slow to come in this summer, but they haven't been non-existent.  This one from Ryan Rua was a good one to move a few cards out of my boxes.  The above 2018 Topps turned out great.
Rua also signed a 2012 Topps Pro Debut, 2015 Topps Heritage, 2015 Topps Chrome and a 2016 Topps.  All of the cards turned out well.

Rua (b. 1990) played in the majors from 2014 to 2018 for the Rangers.  He had 164 hits, 23 home runs and a .236 batting average.

I mailed to Rua on June 14 and got the cards back on June 24, for a 10-day TAT.

2021 50/50 From Brian - Delino DeShields Jr

Delino DeShields, Jr. came to the Wood Ducks Hot Stove event a couple years ago and signed some cards for Chris and I.  So, when my friend, Brian, messaged me asking if I had any DeShields cards, I was a bit worried that I wouldn't be able to find any for him.  Thankfully, I had some in the boxes I got from my former LCS, and also some newer stuff that I was able to find.  The above 2010 Bowman turned out great.  I ended up with several of these, so I will have a few as trade bait.
I also found the above 2015 Topps Heritage, a 2019 Topps and a 2020 Topps.  All of the cards turned out great.

DeShields (b. 1992) has played in the majors since 2015, for the Rangers, Indians and Reds.  He has 450 hits, 19 home runs and a .246 batting average.

Thanks for taking the cards, Brian!

TTM Success - Luke Gregerson

Some fairly recent cards came back TTM with this success from Luke Gregerson.  He signed my 2015 Topps Heritage, which turned out nicely.
I also got a 2013 Topps Update and a 2015 Topps signed by Gregerson.

Gregerson (b. 1984) played in the majors from 2009 to 2019 for the Padres, A's, Astros and Cardinals.  He had a record of 35-35 with 621 strike outs and a 3.15 ERA.  He won the World Series in 2017 with the Astros.

I mailed to Gregerson on March 8 and got the cards back on May 1, for a 54-day TAT.  He signed 3 of the 5 cards I sent.

Another TTM Success From Pat Neshek

I've told myself a few times that I'm done sending TTM to Pat Neshek, and then I find a card like the above 2018 Topps Heritage Chrome purple refractor.  I had the card for a while, and put it in a box somewhere.  I missed it when I sent the 2019 Heritage to him to sign, but found it buried in a box a few months ago.  I gathered up some other nice cards, along with a few extra autos for his collection, and sent them out.
Of Neshek's Topps base autos, I didn't yet have his 2017 Topps, so I was glad that he sent this one back to me.  It looks really nice, especially since it is a horizontal card.

I mailed to Neshek on October 20 and included 2 cards he needed for his 87 Topps set.  He signed the cards I sent and added the 2017 Topps I mentioned before, and the 2017 Topps Chrome (bottom, right).  I got the cards back on October 31, for an 11-day TAT.

TTM Success - Josh Collmenter

I was able to get some nice mid-2010s cards signed via TTM from Josh Collmenter.  The above 2012 Topps turned out really well.
Collmenter also signed cards from 2013 and 2014 Topps Update, 2015 Topps Heritage and 2011 Bowman.

Collmenter (b. 1986) played in the majors from 2011 to 2017 for the Diamondbacks and Braves.  He had a record of 38-35 with 494 strike outs and a 3.64 ERA.

I mailed to Collmenter on October 12 and got the cards back on October 24, for a 12-day TAT.

TTM Success - Matt Den Dekker

I hate the new blogger interface.  Just so you all know.  It took me 15 minutes to load these scans of these cards I got back signed by Matt Den Dekker.  Now, I don't even feel like writing about them.  The interface is way too slow, and it is very counter intuitive vs how it used to run.  The pictures load backwards from what you select.  The above 2011 Topps Heritage was the one I clicked on to load first, but it loaded second below the scan of the two cards below.  I tried to move them around, then the page froze.  Plus, the photos load way too large; you have to re-size them, then you have to tell it each time that you want the photos centered on the page.  It shouldn't be that hard.  Glad I wasn't in a hurry or anything.  Thanks for fixing something that wasn't broken, Google.

Anyway, I got three cards back from Matt Den Dekker, and they turned out really well.

Den Dekker (b. 1987) played in the majors from 2013 to 2018 for the Mets, Nationals and Tigers.  He had 82 hits, 7 home runs and a .223 batting average.

I mailed to Den Dekker on May 12 and got the cards back on May 30, for an 18-day TAT.

Christmas Gift From Cal - Nolan Reimold Triple Auto and More

I've only been talking to my buddy, Cal, for a couple months, but he was nice enough to surprise me with a Christmas gift recently.  I sent him a little something, as well.  I didn't expect anything in return, of course.  I've been helping him out a bunch with TTM ideas and general baseball information, and he seems to have really enjoyed it.  I love answering his questions, and I hope that I have provided him with some help with his collection.

I have seen a bunch of these Just Minors Nolan Reimold autos on my Ebay feed, but never got around to picking one up.  Cal got this one for me, and it is numbered 2/3.  It also has autos of Andre Ethier and Jeff Larish (where has he been?).
Cal also included this Chris Davis relic from 2015 Topps Heritage High Number.  I always love Chris Davis cards, and was happy that Cal included this in the package.

Thank you so much for the Christmas gift, Cal!  I have already put Nolan in a mag, and Davis will go into my PC.

TTM Success - Buck Showalter

On Saturday I got a TTM success that I was really excited about.  I got four cards back from Orioles manager, Buck Showalter.  The above 2005 Topps gold parallel was the card I was the most happy to get back.  I don't know why, I guess because I have had it for so long.  You may be able to see that there is some damage on the card on the right side.  It was a victim of a common problem with mid 90s to mid 2000s Topps cards.  The over gloss on the card allows for it to stick the the other cards near it if it ever gets hot.  I was able to salvage this one out of a box of junk, and held onto it.  Now, it has been salvaged yet again as a TTM success.
I figured I would try to send a few other cards to Buck and see if I could get multiples signed.  I was lucky enough to get three Topps Heritage cards signed.  Heritage always looks good with an on-card auto.
I had gotten Buck before TTM.  That was a couple years ago on a ball.  I have since replaced that ball with an IP auto from Buck, and gave the TTM one to my friend, Frankie.
I have already inspired one young Instagram follower to send to Buck since he has seen my post about this TTM success.  I hope he can get a success like I did.

I mailed to Buck on 2/22 and got the cards back on 3/5, making them a 12-day TAT.  Not bad for a guy who is really busy right now.
