TTM Success - Ryan Verdugo

A search through my Bowman boxes brought me another stack of cards to try to send TTM.  One of the cards that came back signed was this 2009 Bowman Chrome Ryan Verdugo.

Verdugo (b. 1987) does not appear to be related to Alex Verdugo.  He played in the majors in 2012 for the Royals.  He had a record of 0-1 with 2 strike outs and a 32.40 ERA.

I mailed to Verdugo on April 30 and got the card back on May 13 for a 13-day TAT.

TTM Success - Aaron King

This card is signed. You just have to look really closely, due to this being a chrome card.and my scanner not liking them very much.  If you look at the top right, you.may be able to see where Aaron King signed my 2009 Bowman Chrome.  This card actually was mailed twice; the first time resulted in a RTS.

King (b. 1989) was a 7th round pick by the Giants in the 2008 June Amateur Draft out of Surry Community College in Dobson, NC.  My aunt lives in Dobson, or at least she used to.  He played in the minors from 2008 to 2011 in the Gia as system, reaching AAA.  He had a record of 12-12 with 230 strike outs and a 4.47 ERA.

I mailed to King on October 12 and got the card back on October 24, for a 12-day TAT.

TTM Success - Andy Parrino

This was a random Bowman Chrome card that I found in my box.  I randomly checked and saw that Andy Parrino had signed in the past, so I took a shot and got a TTM success back from him.  I had to search to find ah address, but it worked.

Parrino (b. 1985) played in the majors from 2011 to 2015 for the Padres and A's.  He had 43 hits, 2 home runs and a .175 batting average.

I mailed to Parrino on January 8 and got the card back on January 29, for a 21-day TAT.

TTM Success - Dusty Odenbach

After a second attempt, I was able to get this 2009 Bowman Chrome signed by Dusty Odenbach.  I recently resent several failed TTMs out, and this one was the first to come back. The autograph is tough to see, the one in the box is a facsimile auto, but it got done.

Odenbach (b. 1987) was an 8th round pick by the Royals out of the University of Connecticut during the 2009 June Amateur Draft.   He played in the Royals system from 2009 to 2011, reaching High A. He had a record of 15-15 with 190 strike outs and a 3.98 ERA.

I mailed to Odenbach on October 11 and got the card back on October 26, for a 15-day TAT.

TTM Success - Tim Collins

With all of the 2022 Bowmans coming in TTM recently, it was cool to see a much older Bowman come in with this TTM success from Tim Collins.  The above 2009 Bowman Chrome turned out nicely.  I had found the card in my older Bowman boxes and thought it would be nice to send out for an autograph.
I had this 2013 Topps Update to send along with the Bowman card, so it went, too.  Both of the cards turned out nicely; Collins has a nice signature.

Collins (b. 1989) played in the majors from 2011 to 2014 and 2018 to 2019 for the Royals, Nationals and Cubs.  He had a record of 12-17 with 245 strike outs and a 3.60 ERA.

I mailed to Collins on October 11 and got the cards back on January 14, for a 95-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jon Kibler

I got a couple older Bowmans out of my boxes with this TTM success from Jon Kibler.  He signed a 2009 Bowman and 2009 Bowman Chrome.  Both cards look really nice, and Kibler has a nice signature.
Kibler (b. 1986) was a 30th round pick by the Tigers in the 2007 June Amateur Draft out of Michigan State University.  He played in the Tigers system from 2007 to 2010 and then in Independent ball from 2011 to 2012.  His minor league was 31-27 with 339 strike outs and a 3.53 ERA.  He had one really great year for the West Michigan Whitecaps in 2008 when he went 14-5 with a 1.75 ERA.  It earned him a promotion AA Erie in 2009, but he faltered, going 6-9 with a 4.08 ERA.  I wonder if he would have benefited from being moved along more gradually, maybe to High A, before being promoted all the way to AA.

I mailed to Kibler on November 16 and got the cards back on December 12, for a 26-day TAT.

TTM Success - Josh Outman

I added some nice cards to the album when I got this TTM success back from former pitcher, Josh Outman.  I don't have many 2009 Chrome, so being able to get one signed was nice.
I do have quite a few 2009 Topps Heritage, but they look great, and I had one of Outman's, so I got it done, too.
He also signed a 2009 Bowman Chrome and a 2010 Topps.

Outman (b. 1984) shares a birthday with me, which is cool.  He pitched in the majors in 2008 and 2009, and from 2011 to 2014 for the A's, Rockies, Indians and Yankees.  He had a career record of 16-11 with 226 strike outs and a 4.43 ERA.

I mailed to Outman on May 8 and got the cards back on May 29, for a 21-day TAT.

TTM Success - Matt Moore

This was a nice TTM success from Matt Moore in that I was able to use this 2009 Bowman Chrome that had been floating around my boxes since I had gotten the card.  I do have a bunch of old Bowman from back then, and it is a bit tough to get them signed these days.
I also added a 2014 Topps to the album with this one.  I still dob't have very many of these signed, so it was good to add one.

Moore (b. 1989) has played in the majors since 2011 for the Rays, Giants and Rangers.  He has a career record of 54-56 with 797 strike outs and a 4.56 ERA.  He was an All Star in 2013 and also finished 9th in the AL Cy Young voting that season.

I mailed to Moore on December 4, 2017, and got the cards back on September 29, 2018, for a 299-day TAT.

Christmas Gift From Anthony

I got a Christmas gift in the mail from a fellow Instagrammer, Anthony.  He and I have done some trading back and forth for over a year, and I have also helped him with some issues and card questions.  He surprised me with this awesome Nolan Reimold 2009 Bowman Chrome red refractor numbered 5/5.  This is a really tough card to find, and I really don't want to know what Anthony had to give up to get it.

This will look really great in my Reimold PC.  Thank you so much for the awesome gift, Anthony, I love it!
