TTM Success - Mark Kiefer

Look out, it's a 1995 Fleer! The wackiest set had another card added to my autograph album with this TTM success from Mark Kiefer.  Man, I love 1995 Fleer.  It is such a weird set, and definitely had grown on me over the years.  They look cool signed, as well.
The 1995 Fleer is definitely what drove me to send to Kiefer, but these other three cards also turned out nicely.  I got a 1994 Collectors Choice, 1994 Flair and a 1996 Fleer signed.

Kiefer (b. 1968) played in the majors from 1993 to 1996 for the Brewers.  He had a record of 5-1 with 61 strike outs and a 4.29 ERA.

I mailed to Kiefer on March 1 and got the cards back on November 30, for a 274-day TAT.

TTM Success - William Van Landingham

This is a TTM request that I held onto for quite a while, because I had the above 1996 Collectors Choice gold signature somewhere, but could not locate it.  Finally, I found the card in one of my boxes and sent the request out to William Van Landingham.
Van Landingham signed everything with a purple Sharpie, which turned out pretty nice.  It is a different choice, but I'm ok with it.
I had a bunch of his cards to choose from, which made it tough to narrow ir down to just a few to send out.
This 1994 Flair Wave of the Future might be the best looking one of them all, though.  I just think it looks really nice with the red background.

Van Landingham (b. 1970) played in the majors from 1994 to 1997 for the Giants.  He had a career record of 27-26 with a 4.54 ERA and 300 strike outs.  He finished 7th in the 1994 NL Rookie of the Year voting.

I mailed to Van Landingham on July 14 and got the cards back on August 10, for a 27-day TAT.

TTM Success - Mike Oquist

I actually got three cards signed by Mike Oquist, but it was a dual card, and I sent that off to be signed by the other player.  These two will suffice for now.  I was able to get a 1994 Flair and a 1995 Fleer signed by Oquist.  I have always believed that 1995 Fleer was a really freaky design, but they do look great when signed.  You can also never go wrong with Flair.  I would love for Topps or Panini to bring back that design, but I guess Upper Deck still owns the rights to all of Fleer's catalog.  It is still a shame to see how far Fleer fell in the early 2000s.  I still remember when they went under (I'm assuming that all who are reading this know that Fleer owned the Flair brand), but they had spread themselves so thin across the market with what seemed like hundreds of products.  That being said, some of those products had some really nice designs.

Oquist (b. 1968) played in the majors from 1993 to 1999 for the Orioles, Padres and A's.  He had a career record of 25-31 with 351 strike outs and a 5.46 ERA.

I mailed to Oquist on January 27 and got the cards back on February 6, for a 10-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jim Poole

I received a TTM success today from former Orioles reliever, Jim Poole on some pretty nice cards.  The above 1988 Topps Traded Team USA card came out of a box of Topps that my mom found for me a while back.  The 1994 Flair came from another box that she picked up at the same time.  Those 1994 Flair cards turn out really nice when they are signed.  This one looks nice, as well, even though the signature bubbled up somewhat.
Here are two Topps cards (1992 and 1993) for the Topps Autograph Project.  I now have 5 each from those two sets (and am always looking to add more).
This last card comes from the Official 1987 USA National Baseball Team set.  The card was in a random box of cards that my wife picked up for me several years ago as a Christmas present.  I put the box up, and took a look through it some time ago for TTMs.  Realizing I had this card, but no real purpose for it, I figured it would be a nice add-in for some player who signed TTM.  Now, the card has a purpose and will reside in my TTM/IP Autograph album, as opposed to being just some random card in a box somewhere.

Poole (b. 1966) played in the majors from 1990 to 2000 for the Dodgers, Rangers, Orioles, Indians, Giants, Tigers, Phillies and Expos.  He had a career record of 22-12 with an ERA of 4.31 and 256 strike outs.

I mailed to Poole on October 24 and got the card back today for a 7-day TAT.
