Here is another TTM success that landed me a 1987 for my set, this time from Lee Guetterman. I sent 4 cards and ended up with an extra with this success.
He sent me his own religious tract card (top left) and I included a 1988 Topps, 1989 Topps Traded and a 1992 Topps.
Guetterman (b. 1958) played in the majors in 1984, from 1986 to 1993, 1995 and 1996 for the Mariners, Yankees, Mets and Cardinals. He had a career record of 38-36 with 287 strike outs and a 4.33 ERA.
I mailed to Guetterman on February 5 and got the cards back on February 15, for a 10-day TAT.

TTM Success - Benny DiStefano
This was a nice TTM success showing off some late 80s cards from Benny DiStefano. I was able to add a nice 1989 Topps Traded. The Topps Traded cards are a different material than base Topps cards. They really look nice when signed.
I added a 1985 and 1987 Topps as well. Both of them are nice cards, with the 1987 being yet another addition to my album.
DiStefano (b. 1962) played in the majors in 1984, 1986, 1988, 1989 and 1992 for the Pirates and Astros. He had 82 hits, 7 home runs and a .228 batting average.
I mailed to DiStefano on October 4 and got the cards back on October 20, for a 16-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jim Clancy
Here are some more signed cards from the 1980s that I was able to add to my album with this TTM success from Jim Clancy. I especially liked this 1986 Fleer that I got signed. There is a whole lot of blue on this card, now that I am paying some more attention to it. Still, it looks nice.
I added some nice Topps cards, including another 1987 Topps for the album. As of today, I am sitting on 99 signed cards from that set. Not too bad. The 1989 Topps Traded (bottom right) turned out really nice, as well.
Clancy (b. 1955) played in the majors from 1977 to 1991 for the Blue Jays, Astros and Braves. He had a career record of 140-167 with 1,422 strike outs and an ERA of 4.23. He was an All Star for the Blue Jays in 1982. He was a member of the inaugural Blue Jays team of 1977. He pitched 3 games for the Braves in the 1991 World Series, picking up a win, but the Braves ultimately lost to the Twins.
I mailed to Clancy on September 20 and got the cards back on October 17, for a 27-day TAT.

TTM Success - Art Howe
I added some really cool cards to the autograph binder with this success from former manager, Art Howe. The best part of what I added was that I got some colorful Astros jerseys as part of the success.
The above 1989 Topps Traded was just the start, with the color shown on that card. I did a pretty good job choosing what I sent off, I think.
I used this as an opportunity to get the above 1979 and 1978 Astros card signed, but I also needed some more mid-2000s cards, so his 2005 and 2004 Topps helped up the tallies for those years.
Howe (b. 1946) played in the majors from 1974 to 1982, 1984 and 1985 for the Pirates, Astros and Cardinals. He had 682 hits, 43 home runs and a .260 batting average. He finished 18th in the 1981 NL MVP voting.
He managed the Astros from 1989 to 1993, the A's from 1996 to 2002 and the Mets from 2003 to 2004. His managerial record is 1,129-1,137 (.498 win %).
I mailed to Howe on March 13 and got the cards back on March 20, for a 7-day TAT.

TTM Success - Jamie Moyer
This was a TTM success I was excited about for a few different reasons. One, Jamie Moyer was a really good pitcher for a long time. He was also a former Oriole for about 5 minutes. Also, I got a card back signed from him that completed my Topps Autograph Project. Until 2017 comes out, at least.
I sent so many cards because I heard that Moyer would sign anything that was sent to him, so I figured I would get a good representation of cards together and send them along. The above 1998 Fleer Ultra Gold Medallion is one I offered to Moyer to keep, since it featured him with his sons. He sent it back signed with the rest of my stuff, though, so I'm fine with that.
I put together a collection of Topps cards that I wanted to see signed. I made sure I had a couple Orioles cards of his. I also was compelled to send a 1987 Topps and the 1989 Topps Traded looked like a nice card to include.
I liked this version of Stadium Club and opened a bunch of packs of it when it came out in 1994. The label maker font might be a bit dated, but it still looks cool. I always liked this design. Only problem with it, like most mid-90s cards, is that it is overglossed. The cards tend to stick together. Still, I'm glad I got this one signed and it will be safely kept in my album.
Finally, this is the card that completed my Topps Autograph Project for now. I didn't have a single 2008 Topps card signed, so this one was a must when I was finding Moyer cards to mail out. I'm really happy that I got this done. Now, I need to compile my cards from 1951 to 2016 and figure out how I want to display the project. I may just scan them and post them as a standalone page, until I can figure out something to do in person.
Moyer (b. 1962) played in the majors from 1986 to 1991, 1993 to 2010 and 2012 for the Cubs, Rangers, Cardinals, Orioles, Red Sox, Mariners, Phillies and Rockies. He is a rare 4-decade player, meaning he played in the 80s, 90s, 00s and 10s. He had a career record of 269-209 with 2,441 strike outs and a 4.41 ERA. Not Hall of Fame numbers, but he was a good pitcher for a very long time.
Moyer was an All Star only one time in his career, in 2003 when he went 21-7 for the Mariners. He won 20 games one other time in his career in 2001 when he went 20-6 for the M's. He finished as high as 4th in Cy Young voting, during the aforementioned 2001 season. Moyer had quite the lengthy career and finally reached the World Series in 2008 at the age of 45, taking home a ring with the Phillies over the Rays.
I mailed to Moyer on October 24 and got the cards back on December 6 for a 43-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ron Kittle
I got a great TTM success the other day (April 9) from former slugger, Ron Kittle. I mailed to him on March 28, and got the cards back 12 days later. I was really excited to get him because I heard from my friend, Max, that he was a really nice guy and would sign multiples for me. I got an 89 Topps, 89 Topps Traded, an 88 Topps and a 90 Topps.
Kittle (b. 1958) played in the majors from 1982 to 1991 for the White Sox, Yankees, Indians and Orioles. He had 648 hits, 176 home runs and a .239 batting average. He was the AL Rookie of the Year in 1983.
