I added some cool vintage cards to my autograph album with this TTM success from Stan Williams. The above card is a 1963 Post. I don't remember where I found the card, but I imagine it was at a card show.
Williams has some really neat handwriting. I thought the cards looked really nice with his signature.
Williams (b. 1936) and I share a birthday, which I just found out. He played in the majors from 1958 to 1965 and 1967 to 1972 for the Dodgers, Yankees, Indians, Twins, Cardinals and Red Sox. He had a career record of 109-94 with 1,305 strike outs and a 3.48 ERA. He was an All Star twice in 1960. He won the World Series with the Dodgers in 1959.
I mailed to Williams on March 18 and got the cards back on March 25, for a 7-day TAT.

TTM Success - Russ Snyder
A tour through my Orioles box yielded me another TTM subject when I found this 1963 Post card. I found it and looked to see if Russ Snyder was still living, and if he siged TTM. Luckily both of those criteria were met and I went to send this card along.
A funny thing happened, though, while I was doing TTMs the day I sealed the Post card in the envelope. I pulled out my vintage box to look for someone else, and I saw this 1960 Topps in there. I cut the envelope open and added this card along with my request letter and other stuff. I even changed "card" to "cards" in the letter. I'm glad I did, because I was able to add another 1960 Topps to my ledger, as well.
Snyder (b. 1934_ played in the majors from 1959 to 1970 for the A's (Kansas City), Orioles, White Sox, Indians and Brewers. He had 984 hits, 42 home runs and a .271 batting average. He won the World Series with the Orioles in 1966.
I mailed to Snyder on January 4 and got the cards back on January 13, for a 9-day TAT.

Some Mail From Drew
I always like getting mail from my good friend Drew because I never know what will be inside his envelopes. Drew does a good job of keeping an eye on cards that I want and always surprises me with some goodies whenever he gets the chance to send them my way. The highlight of his latest package (which i got on Friday before I left town) was the above Virgil Trucks signed baseball card from Topps Archives. Anytime I can add a new Trucks card to my PC is a bonus as there aren't too many of his cards left that I don't have.
I liked this Mark Reynolds Black Diamond from the 2011 Topps Wrapper Redemption program. I really want the Virgil Trucks auto from this set, so I'm keeping a lookout for those.
Finally, here is a 1963 Post Russ Snyder. It is a really cool card. I think I sent Drew a Post Elston Howard, so this one is a nice return, haha.
I appreciate the cards, Drew! I will definitely try to find you something cool from this weekend's card show!
