Dave Jolly (b. 1924 - d. 1963) pitched for the Braves from 1953 - 1957. The Braves won the World Series in 1957, his final season. His career won-loss record was 16-14, primarily as a reliever. He died at the age of 38, one year after undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumor.
