I mailed to LaRussa on December 24 and got the card back on March 26 for a 92-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Tony LaRussa
This 2024 Panini Select Tony LaRussa was pulled from the blasters that I got a few months ago. I thought it was a really cool card, so I sent it out to LaRussa TTM to get signed. He signed it in thin blue Sharpie.

Another TTM Success From Tony LaRussa
As I was going through the boxes I got from my former LCS, I also was trying to condense down my Topps boxes. I figured I would send off a TTM or two to some guys I had already gotten. When I found this 1972 Topps, I knew I wanted to send another TTM request to Tony LaRussa. This also passed as a Spring Training TTM request, so I had that going for me, as well.
This 2020 Topps Allen & Ginter turned out really well. I got a bunch of cards from this set in the card shop boxes and was glad to get one of them signed and into my album.

Another TTM Success From Roger Craig
I had gotten Tony LaRussa on this 1990 Score "Lights Out Candlestick" card commemorating the earthquake during the 1989 World Series and thought it would be cool to add in the opposing manager. So, I sent off to Roger Craig and paid his $5.00 fee. I'm really glad I sent it off. I doubt I will add any other signatures to the card, but you never know.
I mailed to Craig on January 23 and got the card back on February 23, for a 31-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Tony LaRussa
I needed Tony LaRussa on a second 1987 Topps card, so I decided to send to him TTM a second time. This time around, in addition to the 1987, I sent him the above 1990 Score depicting the 1989 World Series Earthquake. I thought the card was really cool, and figured LaRussa would be someone good to get on it.
I had sent him this 1987 Topps in the past, but it came back unsigned. He signed my 1992 Topps and 1987 Topps A's Team Leaders card. So, I now have both of his 1987s signed.
I mailed to LaRussa on March 26 and got the cards back on April 12, for a 17-day TAT.

Second TTM Success From Tony LaRussa
I had to mail to Tony LaRussa again so I could get him on a 1987 Topps card. He did sign an 87 for me, but I actually had sent two. He left the 1987 Topps base card unsigned and signed this 1987 Topps A's Team Leaders. I'm ok with that, I can always try again at a later date (maybe Spring Training next year).
He also signed this 1992 Topps that turned out really nice. I had several cards to choose from, but went with this, and those two 1987s. Getting two of the three signed really isn't too bad at all.
I mailed to LaRussa on February 22 and got the cards back on April 5, for a 42-day TAT.

Hall of Fame TTM Success - Tony LaRussa
I haven't added to my Hall of Fame signed baseball collection in a long time, so I decided when I got my case of OMLBs in for the National, I would go ahead and try Tony LaRussa TTM to go ahead and get one out of the way.
I mailed to LaRussa on June 27 and got this ball back on Friday (July 8) while I was in Baltimore. Still counts as an 11-day TAT.
LaRussa (b. 1944) played in the majors from 1963, 1968 to 1971 and 1973 for the A's (KC and Oakland), Braves and Cubs. He had 35 hits, no home runs and a .199 batting average.
LaRussa would become the manager of the Chicago White Sox in 1979 and would go on to manage from 1979 to 2011 for the White Sox (1979-1986), Oakland Athletics (1986-1995) and St. Louis Cardinals (1996 to 2011). He amassed a 2,728-2,365 record (.536) over 33 seasons. He was the Manager of the Year in 1983, 1988, 1992 and 2002. He led the White Sox to the post season in 1983, losing to the Orioles. He took the A's to the World Series in 1988, 1989 and 1990, winning in 1989. He led the Cardinals to the World Series in 2004, 2006 and 2011, winning in 2006 and 2011.
LaRussa was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2014 by the Veterans Committee, in his first time on the ballot. He is my 122nd Hall of Famer on a baseball.
