A Dual Autographed Card From Rich

Regular blog reader, Rich, messaged me out of the blue on Facebook offering me the above 1982 Topps Football card showing football Brothers, Lyle and Glenn Blackwood.  I like multi-signed cards; it is always cool to complete one of them and adds a layer of difficulty.  I really appreciate Rich reaching out with the card.

Lyle Blackwood (b. 1951) played professionally from 1973 to 1986 for the Bengals, Seahawks, Colts and Dolphins.  He had 35 interceptions in his career and led the league in 1977 with 10.

Glenn Blackwood (b. 1957) played professionally from 1977 to 1987 for the Dolphins.  He had 29 interceptions in his career.

Thank you so much for the card, Rich.  It is really cool and is a great addition to the autograph album.

Some More 87s For The Set

I added two more signed 1987 Topps to the set recently with a deal I made with a couple friends.  The above Keith Hernandez was obtained from my friend, Stefan, who has hooked me up with quite a few autos in the past.  I paid him $20 for this card, and it looks really nice.
I had gotten an email from my friend, Rich, who was looking for an unsigned Len Matuszek 87,  I found two right next to each other in my box, so I sent them both.  I'm glad I did, because Rich was nice enough to get one signed for me.

Thanks for the deals, guys!  I wouldn't be this far along with the set if it weren't for all of the help I have received along the way.

Some Signed Cards From Rich

I was emailed recently by a reader of this blog by the name of Rich.  He was also working on the 1987 Topps set, but needed a base card of someone I had gotten recently.  I sent the card to him, no big deal, and in return, he hooked me up with this awesome BJ Surhoff.  I have been holding off on Surhoff, since he charges.  I had two other cards of his that I wanted done, so getting this one helps me out.  Also, this is my 400th 1987 Topps.  I'm well over halfway now, and my brand new album came in yesterday, so all of the cards are in pages and ready to roll.
Rich also sent some extra autos that he had, which was really nice.  I really appreciated Rich adding extras, and in return I am going to help him with a few other 1987s for his set.
I really appreciated the deal, and all of the help from Rich.  Thanks so much!
