I got an amazing Christmas package in the mail recently from my good buddy, Cameron. He really blew me away with what he sent. He is such a good guy, and didn't have to get me what he got, but it was very appreciated.
The above Matt Wieters three color patch from Panini Donruss is such an amazing card. Wieters doesn't have much as far as relics and stuff, so this one is a nice addition to my collection. It really was a surprise.
Cameron included this blue 2014 Bowman Chrome auto of Oscar Taveras as a throwback to our first deal. We met during a trade for a Topps Hi Tek Taveras auto. Since then, we have been really good friends. This is a nice Taveras and it is numbered 9/150.
He included a nice auto of Hunter Harvey from 2014 Bowman Sterling. I really like this card and I'm glad Cameron included it. It looks really awesome.
I got this 2015 Topps Chrome Christian Walker from Cameron as well. I have a couple of these, but am happy to add another one.
Cameron also included a few refractors like this Machado blue. This card is numbered 18/250. I don't think I had one of these yet, so I was glad to get this one.
Also, here is a purple refractor of Chris Tillman. This is numbered 89/150. I didn't have this one either.
Thank you so much for the Christmas package, Cameron. The cards were amazing and I love them!

Instagram Trade With Cameron - 2014 Topps Hi Tek Oscar Taveras Auto
I completed another trade on Instagram with Cameron last week when I sent him a 2014 Bowman Sterling refractor and auto of Andrew Heaney (two cards). In return, Cameron sent me this 2014 Topps Hi Tek Oscar Taveras auto.
I initially had a hard time settling on something in Cameron's collection that I wanted for the two Heaneys, but when he said that he would give the Taveras up, I jumped on it. I had wanted a Taveras auto well before he died, and I fully intend on keeping it, since I don't believe in cashing in one one's demise. I also really enjoy the Topps Hi Tek autos, so adding this was a no brainer.
Cameron also included a bunch of nice cards in the package he sent like a 2014 Topps Chrome RC of Taveras, a couple chrome Altuves and a chrome Jon Singleton RC. I really enjoyed all of the extras he threw in as well.
Thanks for the deal, Cameron!

Instagram Trade With Trevor - Cal Ripken Coin and More
I completed another trade with my buddy, Trevor when he sent me this Cal Ripken painted Silver Eagle and some other cards for my collection. He had been offering me this Cal coin for some time, and I was happy to get it from him.
Trevor took a bunch of Reds off of my hands, and now gets most, if not all, of the ones I come across. That makes it really easy for me when it comes to searching boxes.
This red hot foil Oscar Taveras card was something else that Trevor added, and I was glad to add it to my collection. While I don't agree with his decision making that cost him his life, he was still someone's son, brother and friend. His life ending so soon was a true tragedy, but hopefully there is a silver lining to it. Maybe if one of the kids who looked up to Taveras will learn from the mistake that he made, and refrain from drinking and driving.
The card really pops, and it serves as a fitting tribute to a young player who is gone too soon.
Thanks for the deal, Trevor! I really appreciate the deal, and I know we will do more in the future!
