Marichal is a great signer for a cheap price, and I have gotten him several times. I mailed to him on March 3 and got the card back on March 14 for an 11-day TAT. I paid his fee of $20.00.

Another TTM Success From Juan Marichal
My blaster boxes of 2021 Panini Prizm came in back in February and ai pulled this sweet Juan Marichal orange shimmer parallel. I hadn't sent to him in a while, so I sent the card out to get it signed. It turned out great!

TTM Success - Juan Marichal
It is really nice when you can find a Hall of Famer who signs TTM. I saw that Juan Marichal was signing, and even though I already had him on a ball in my Hall of Fame collection, I wanted to send off a card.
I got this 1962 Topps that had been in my collection for a long time signed. It will look great in my album.
I mailed to Marichal on March 28 and got the card back on July 25, for a 119-day TAT. I paid a fee of $10.00.
This post officially catches me up (for now) on all of the TTMs that I was behind on. I'm hoping I have some waiting on me when I get home from the National. Of course, I have a whole slew of posts coming from my trip, so maybe I don't want too many TTMs waiting on me...

Trade With Michael - Relics and Autos
I worked out a deal with my friend, Michael, pretty quickly the other day and landed a few nice cards for my collection. This triple relic Chris Tillman card is really cool. It is numbered 36/99 and came out of 2010 Bowman. Tillman has been rough this year, but that has kind of been the O's season. Good at points, really rough at others. Uggh. Oh well. At this point, I've accepted that Tillman is probably a #3 or #4 starter, but we have him as a #1, and that isn't going to cut it. I wish he would turn it around and be the dominant pitcher I know he can be, but something just isn't right with him this year.
I picked this 2014 Panini Hall of Fame signed Bruce Sutter up from Michael in a mystery envelope for $5 that he was running. I got the card to round out my purchase, and I was pretty ok with what I pulled. It is a nice-looking card and is numbered 8/50, so that's not bad.
Finally, Michael threw in this nice 2004 UD Legendary Cuts relic card of Juan Marichal. Michael knows how I like wool jersey cards, so it was cool that he remembered and added it to the package.
Thanks for the deal, Michael.
I'll probably be holding off on any more deals (aside from the cards I have coming in this week) until after the National at the end of the month. I am selling at the Raleigh Card Show from July 24 to 26 to raise some more funds, then it is off to the National. I have a few things I intend to pick up, so I need to save as much as I can.

Surprise 1969 Topps Package From Wes
I got an email before I went on vacation from a guy named Wes who needed my address because he had some 1969 Topps for my set. I figured it would be a few, but he said in the email that it was quite a bit, which was a nice surprise.
When they got here the other day, I was even more surprised that there were a few Hall of Famers in the lot and they were all in great shape.
The above Willie McCovey is especially nice. I need to get more McCovey cards, that's all there is to it.
There's another McCovey card rtight there! That didn't take long at all.
Wes also included this card of Hall of Fame manager, Dick Williams. I forget about Williams every now and then. He is still a ball I need for my HOF collection and can be had at reasonable prices. I just need to get one.
Anyway, thanks for the cards, Wes. I have a bit of vintage to send your way, which I will do in the next few days.

Today's Mail
I got a sweet 1970 Topps Juan Marichal All Star in the mail today from my good friend Jim. He always hooks me up with great 1970 Topps! I'll have this set finished before too long with his help. THANKS JIM!!!!
Marichal was a heck of a pitcher. This card puts me just one step closer to completing my set. Woo hoo!
