2024 National Free Signer - Cory Snyder

Cory Snyder was a free signer at the 2019 National.  He is yet another guy who was brought back this year for another shot at signing.  I had a few more cards of his, including this 1988 Donruss Baseball's Best.  This was an easy choice to get signed.
I also had this 2003 Topps All Time Fan Favorites that came out of a box from the former LCS.

Snyder was cool again this year.  I had some cards remaining after the show, so I'll have to put them somewhere in case he shows up at another National.

2019 National Free VIP Signer - Cory Snyder

I had already gotten Cory Snyder TTM in the past, so when I saw that he was signing at the National, I struggled to find some cards.  Luckily, I found these two late-80s Fleer offerings.  The above 1988 Fleer turned out really well, I think.
His 1989 Fleer also looks really nice.  I think I prefer the 88, though.

I didn't have to wait very long in Snyder's line, and was able to cash in a wild card voucher to get him on the 89 Fleer.

TTM Success - Cory Snyder

I got a TTM success last week from a guy whos cards I have seen hundreds of times, but never really thought too much about.  That has been one of the best parts of this TTM project, finding out about these players and their careers.  It has helped me branch out and pick up and appreciate some cards that I normally would pass over.

I mailed to Cory Snyder on March 12 and received all 5 cards back 17 days later.  I sent the above 1987 Fleer Star Stickers, which turned out really nice.  I was on the fence about it, but I'm glad I included it.
I also got a few cool Topps cards signed.  Two 1987s, which means I will probably donate one of them to someone else's collection.  I also liked seeing the 1993 gold parallel come back.  I also received my first signed 1994 Topps.

Snyder (b. 1962) played in the majors from 1986 to 1994 for the Indians, White Sox, Blue Jays, Giants and Dodgers.  He had 902 hits, 149 home runs and a career .247 batting average.
