May 2025 Graphing of Jackals at Bird Dawgs

The New Jersey Jackals came to town last week and I was able to get some nice cards signed.  I had some help from Chris and Jesse.

It was cool that a former major leaguer was on the Jackals.  Miguel Gomez was really nice and signed everything we had.

Chris got a bunch of them done which helped me out since I missed the Wednesday day game.

I also had some nice 2018 Bowman Chrome Arbert Cipion.  I had gotten him a while ago when he was with the Mudcats.  I also got some team set cards of Colt Webb signed.

In all, we got the following autographs: Albert Cipion x 5, Miguel Gomez x 30 and Colt Webb x 4 (39 total autographs). 

TTM Success - Daniel Winkler

A pass through my boxes at the end of the season led me to these two cards of Daniel Winkler.  I was able to move this 2013 Donruss Elite Extra Edition out of my rookies box and into the autograph album. 

This 2018 Topps Update also turned out nicely. 

Winkler (b. 1990) played in the majors from 2015 to 2021 for the Braves and Cubs.  He had a record of 9-5 with 173 strike outs and a 3.98 ERA.

I mailed to Winkler on September 3 and got the cards back on September 14, for an 11-day TAT. 

TTM Success - Isiah Kiner-Falefa

I was able to get another current MLB player via TTM when I got these cards back from Isiah Kiner-Falefa.  I had held some of his cards when I thought I could get a couple folks to get him at Rangers AAA (either Round Rock a couple years ago, or Nashville), but he has been sticking around the majors now.

I love those silver pack chromes from Topps; the above right one being a 1983 design.  I have been getting them lately with my Topps boxes, and they are some really cool cards to get signed.

Kiner-Falefa (b. 1995) has played in the majors since 2018 for the Rangers.  He has 200 hits, 8 home runs and a .262 batting average.

I mailed to him on February 29 at Rangers Spring Training and got the cards back on July 7, for a 129-day TAT.

TTM Success - Nick Kingham

Here are some nice cards that I got back from former Pirates and Blue Jays pitcher, Nick Kingham.  I had seen that he was signing, and I thought I had a ton of his cards, but it turned out that I only had one.  The above 2012 Elite Extra Edition was found at my LCS.  I picked it up and added it to the TTM request with the 2018 Topps Update below that was in one of my boxes.

I guess I gave the other Kingham cards that I had to friends of mine who are Pirates fans.  That has to be why I thought I had them, but didn't.

Kingham (b. 1991) has played in the majors in 2018 and 2019 for the Pirates and Blue Jays.  He has a career record of 9-9 with 115 strike outs and a 6.08 ERA.  Kingham was released by the Blue Jays in August 2019.  He will look to bounce back in 2020 while pitching in Korea.

I mailed to Kingham on January 6 and got the cards back on January 17, for an 11-day TAT.

TTM Success - Sal Romano

I got this TTM success from Sal Romano via Reds Spring Training.  The cards look really nice with his signature on them.  The above 2018 Topps Update turned out really nice, I think.

This 2019 Topps also looks nice.  He did a really good job on the cards for me.

Romano (b. 1993) has played in the majors since 2017 with the Reds.  He has a record of 13-19 with 178 strike outs and a 4.99 ERA.  He was a 23rd round pick by the Reds in the 2011 June Amateur Draft out of a Connecticut high school.

I mailed to Romano on February 6 and got the cards back on March 4, for a 26-day TAT.
