TTM Success - James Boone

This 2005 Bowman of James Boone is another card that I got from my friend Ryan, and it also was sent out TTM for signature. It came back signed in black Sharpie, and looks great.

Boone (b. 1983) was a 3rd round pick by the Pirates in the 2005 June Amateur Draft out of the University of Missouri. He played in the minors from 2005 to 2009 in the Pirates system, reaching AA Altoona. He had 278 hits, 29 home runs and a .246 batting average.

I mailed to Boone on December 11 and got the card back on January 9, for a 29-day TAT.

TTM Success - Andy Sides

Here are a couple nice mid-2000s cards that came back signed TTM from Andy Sides.  I got a few 2005 Bowman gold parallels in the boxes I got from my former LCS, and was able to add a signed one to the album.  The card turned out well, but like most thicker cards, it was damaged in the mail.  I need to pick up some non-machinable stamps and use those for these thicker cards.
I also got a 2005 Topps Update signed by Sides.  This one also turned out nicely.

Sides (b. 1984) was an 11th round pick in the 2003 MLB June Amateur Draft by the Mets out of DeSoto High School in Missouri.  He played in the minors in 2003 and 2004 in the Mets system, reaching Rookie Level ball.  He had a record of 3-6 with 63 strike outs and a 3.86 ERA.

I mailed to Sides on October 31 and got the cards back on November 14, for a 14-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ryan Goleski

There was a period of time recently where I sent off a bunch of older Bowman cards to make some room in my boxes. To try to condense the three or four boxes of prospect type cards down so I could have a spot for newer stuff. When I do that, I end up with some cool cards in my autograph album like this 2005 Bowman gold parallel of Ryan Goleski. I got the card back signed TTM, even through the autograph isn't very evident on the scan.

Goleski (b. 1982) was a 24th round pick in the 2003 June Amateur Draft by the Indians out of Eastern Michigan University. He played in the minors from 2003 to 2008, all in the Indians system. He had 664 hits, 102 home runs and a .268 batting average. The highest level he reached was AA.

I mailed to Goleski on March 3 and got the card back on May 26, for an 84-day TAT.
