TTM Success - Julio Zuleta

Take a look at that auto.  Julio Zuleta has a great signature.  I saw that he was signing TTM, so I sent three cards. Only two came back, but that's ok.  Above is a 2000 Topps Gallery.
I also got a 2002 Topps signed.  He inscribed both cards to me, but that doesn't take anything away.

Zuleta (b. 1975) played in the majors from 2000 to 2001 for the Cubs.  He had 43 hits, 9 home runs and a .247 batting average.

I mailed to Zuleta on January 13 and got the cards back on January 25 for a 12-day TAT.

TTM Success - Scott Downs

There was a brief time in August where I got in some TTMs that had been put for a very long time. The latest one was this TTM success from Scott Downs.  I was excited to get this 2000 Topps Gold Label back signed. It turned out great.
I also got a 2000 Topps Gallery and a 2010 Topps back signed.  The two 2000 cards came from a trip to the former LCS years ago.

Downs (b. 1976) played in the majors in 2000 and from 2003 to 2014 for the Cubs, Expos, Blue Jays, Angels, Braves, White Sox and Royals.  He had a record of 38-40 with 575 strike outs and a 3.56 ERA.

I mailed to Downs on October 7, 2019, and got the cards back on August 25, 2023, for a 1,418-day TAT.

TTM Success - Ben Christensen

Here are some cards that came out of the boxes that I got from my LCS.  The above 2000 Bowmans Best is a beautiful card.  It looks even better in person. I saw it in the box and had to send it to get signed TTM.  All of the other cards followed, and I was really happy with how everything turned out.
He also signed a 2000 Topps Gold Label, 2000 Topps Gallery and a 2000 Topps.  I haven't seen anywhere that Richard Stahl signs, but I will keep an eye out for him.

Christensen (b. 1978) was a first round pick (26th overall) by the Cubs in the 1999 June Amateur Draft out of Wichita State University.  He played 6 seasons in the minors between 1999 and 2004 in the Cubs and Mariners systems.  He reached as high as AA and finished his minors career with a record of 12-19 with 241 strike outs and a 4.64 ERA.

I mailed to Christensen on October 6 and got the cards back on October 19, for a 13-day TAT.

Another TTM Success From Jay Bell

I had found quite a few Jay Bell cards while looking through boxes during several trips to the LCS and while at the National.  The above 1995 Stadium Club acetate card was just too cool to not send TTM.  I found that one in a dime box at the National.
Since Bell signs a bunch of cards when you send to him, I grabbed these from the LCS and sent them with the acetate card.  All of them turned out great.

The 2000 Topps Gallery (bottom left) is yet another set that I missed out on when I was in college and not collecting cards.  I found a stack of them at the LCS, so I grabbed a couple of some guys that I knew signed TTM.  While I was at the shop picking up the 2002 Chrome, the clerk sold me sets of 2002, 2003 and 2004 Topps that had been in storage for a while.  I was lucky enough that they weren't all stuck together, and got them for a great price.  Some of those cards will pop up in some later TTM posts.

I mailed to Bell on October 15 and got the cards back on October 22, for a 7-day TAT.

TTM Success - Adam Piatt

I have knocked my TTM pile down to almost nothing lately in an attempt to get caught up on my posts.  I have sent out fewer TTM requests lately and have concentrated on preparing for Orioles Fan Fest and Christmas.

I haven't gotten nearly as many TTMs in lately, but this one from Adam Piatt was a nice one.  I really liked the above 2000 Topps Gallery.
I can't remember the last time I added a 2000 Topps to my album, so this one was pretty nice.  I think I happened upon it in my rookie card box right before I mailed to Piatt, so I figured I would add it to the request.
The 2001 Topps and 2001 Topps Chrome both turned out really nice.  The chrome is the card that made me look Piatt up.  I think I found that in a card box at my LCS.
Finally. here is a pretty cool 2002 Topps.  I like the leaping catch at the wall.

Piatt (b. 1976) played in the majors from 2000 to 2003 for the A's and Devil Rays.  He had 129 hits, 16 home runs and a .248 batting average.

I mailed to Piatt on November 29 and got the cards back on December 11, for a 12-day TAT.
