Meet Joe Black (it was too easy). Black (b. 1924 - d. 2002) was the 1952 NL Rookie of the Year. He pitched in the majors from 1952 to 1957 for the Dodgers, Reds and Senators. He also played 7 seasons for the Baltimore Elite Giants in the Negro Leagues prior to his time in the majors. He was out of baseball by 1958 and had a career record of 30-12, 222 strikeouts and an ERA of 3.91.
