TTM Success - Khris Davis

A private signing with Khris Davis came up that I was really excited about. The reason was the above 2011 Bowman Chrome green refractor that I had picked up a few years ago at the National. I had to scramble to find the card, but luckily I did. It turned out great.

While looking for the card, I found the above 2019 Topps Gypsy Queen green parallel and 2020 Topps Gypsy Queen Chrome.  I liked both of these so much, I sent them out with the 2011 Bowman Chrome. 

Davis (b. 1987) played in the majors from 2013 to 2021 for the Brewers, A's and Rangers.  He had 820 hits, 221 home runs and a .242 batting average.  He finished 8th in the 2018 AL MVP race.  He led the league in home runs with 48 in 2018, his third of three consecutive seasons with 40 or more home runs.  A weird stat for Davis is that for four seasons in a row from 2015 to 2018, Davis batter .247 in each season.

I mailed to the signing on May 23 and got the cards back on July 14, for a 52-day TAT.  I paid a fee of $20/card.
