Here is another autograph that I got from the recent private signings that I saw on SCN. I assume there was some kind of Mets alumni event, because the guys I got recently were all Mets. This success came from Rafael Santana, and when I saw his name pop up, I had to check his list of cards to see if he was even in the set. I admit, I had never heard of him.
Santana (b. 1958) played in the majors from 1983 to 1988 and 1990 for the Cardinals, Mets, Yankees and Indians. He had 497 hits, 13 home runs and a .246 batting average. He won the World Series with the Mets in 1986.
I mailed to the signing on September 19 and got the card back on October 15, for a 26-day TAT. I paid a fee of $29.00.
