Steve Bilko (b. 1928 - d. 1978) played in the majors from 1949-1954, 1958, and 1960-1962 for the Cardinals, Cubs, Reds, Dodgers, Tigers and Angels. He broke into the majors at the ago of 20 and was known for his ability to hit homers in the minors. He ended his major league career with 432 hits, 76 home runs and a .249 batting average.(DECEASED 50)
