1955 Topps #37 - Joe Cunningham


Joe Cunningham (b. 1931) played in the majors from 1954, 1956-1966 for the Cardinals, White Sox and Senators. His best season was 1959, when he was selected as an All Star for the NL and finished second to Hank Aaron for the NL batting crown with an average of .345. He ended his career with 980 career hits and a .291 average.
