1955 Topps #36 - Leo Kiely


Leo Kiely (b. 1929 - d. 1984) played in the majors from 1951, 1954 to 1960 for the Red Sox and A's with a stopover in 1953 for the Mainichi Orions in Japan. This made him the first Major Leaguer to play in Japan. He finished his career with a record of 26-27 and an ERA of 3.37.
