The 1972 and 1973 Topps turned out great, also. I'm glad to get some of these out of my box and into my autograph album.
Wright (b. 1941) played in the majors from 1966 to 1975 for the Angels, Brewers and Rangers. He had a career record of 100-111 with 667 strike outs and a 3.50 ERA. He was a 20-game winner in 1970, when he went 22-12. He finished 6th in the AL Cy Young race and 21st in the AL MVP race that season. He was also an All Star that year. He was also a 20-game loser in 1974, when he went 9-20 for the Brewers.
I mailed to Wright on December 3 and got the cards back on February 25, for an 84-day TAT.
